Generous and super helpful service! Room was spacious and very clean. With bus and taxis easy to move. Walking distance to closest beaches and Diving World diving center.

Very good hotel appartments.The location looks like the tv show “melrose place”. Really.Nice poolNice appartments.It is so peasfull and resting. Silence, only birds singing ecc ecc.After the day at the beach going back there was like heaven.Rooms are equipped coker microware all you need. Excellent air conditioner . Also we find the best Manager of all.MR RICHARD

Best self catering place to stay in Mont Choisy!

We arrived Nov 1st and was picked up at the airport by a shuttle service that was a bit costly, but impeccable, fixed by the wonderful Richard at La Pointe Villas. Once here, he welcomed us warmly and guided us through how the apartment complex works (self catering, which we preferred, travelling with a 1-year old). The apartment was spacious and clean, had all amenities, and the outdoor area with the garden, polo and tennis court was very much used. We loved the clean and turqouise polo, the flowery and herbacious garden, and the sunchairs and polo toys. The cleaning staff were super friendly and provided us with lots of towels and even did our laundry for a small fee. We will miss the smiles and the way everyone player with our baby. Rachel and Richard were marvellous fixers and hjelped us with everything from rental cars to restaurants to tips on supermarkets and outings. True miracle workers! We will miss them, and definitely come back. The area is seven minutes by foot from Mont Choisy beach, which is very beautiful and has room for everyone. Sunday there, all of Mauritius will come and eat, sing, dance and watch the sunset. Right nearby you have small shops and french bakeries, and a few local restaurants. If you rent a car it is the perfect spot to travel all across the island - nothing is more than 1hour and 30 minutes away. Treat yourself to daytrips like Le Morne, Ile aux Cerfs, La Vanille Nature park, La Vallée des coleurs and the capital. Or simply drive from beach to beach. What a magnificent island, with lovely people, great cultural experiences, child friendly and not too expensive outside the big resorts. La Pointe Villas is a fantastic place to stay, we recommend it warmly! Clean, super friendly, super practical, and great outdoor areas. Richard even brought us a big barbeque when we wanted to grill some fish and meat ourselves, and offered to drive us to places free of charge when we had no car. Oh, and they also,let us have late check out on the day of departure. WARM recommendations from us.

Now that's what I call rain...............but!

Well we can't blame Richard the Manager for the horrendous weather we had for our first week in Mauritius. The government even banned everyone from driving on one day!But we can thank Richard for being so helpful and accommodating during our stay. Whatever we needed Richard was always there, cheerful as can be, looking after our every need. The villa, pool and everything else was great. Nearby an excellent little supermarket, and a special mention to Gerald at the Esprit restaurant over the road and Clive just up the road at Selfish. They put up with 4 damp holiday makers by both providing excellent food and drink..........and many laughs. But a special thanks to Richard for making what could have been a bit of a soggy disaster into what became a most enjoyable week. Thanks.

Beautiful Setting in a Fantastic Location!

We just spent two weeks at La Pointe Villas and it was fabulous! George and Madeline are at the top of their game when it comes to horticulture. The plants and shrubs that surround the villas make for a botanical like setting. Our villa was extremely clean and comfortable and with an outside patio overlooking the pool it was a place you could spend hours just listening to the exotic birds and sipping coffee. In addition to a great location the town of Point aux Canonniers has in my opinion the best beach I have ever been to!!! My party of four all agree that Mont Choisy Public Beach is truly one of the best!!! There is also a great little store, Momo's and a cafe near by. You are also close to the town of Grand Baie which takes only a few minutes by bus. Finally, a word about Richard. He is wise beyond his "young" age. He will be your guiding light during your stay and he will point you in the right direction every time! What a great soul. I feel so blessed to have met you and look forward to seeing you again one day! Thanks to everyone at La Pointe Villas for making this one of the best vacations ever!!!! David & family, from Canada
