An Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Service and Attention to Detail

    rating19 Apr 2026

It was a truly unforgettable experience, which I highly recommend. From the very beginning, the attention to detail stood out remarkably. At the front desk, Cinthya welcomed us with great kindness and, as a courtesy, granted us an early check-in, which set an excellent tone for our stay. She even mistook me for a minor, which in my case was quite flattering and amusing. The room was perfect, and from the very first day, the A/C was set at 100%, making our stay even more comfortable. On my second day, I experienced heat exhaustion at the wave pool, which caused a nosebleed. However, the team’s response was immediate and highly professional. As I got out, the lifeguard, Armando, was already prepared with gloves and gauze to assist me. He stayed attentive to my condition at all times, which I truly appreciate and speaks volumes about the quality and training of the staff. At the pool bar, the service was equally outstanding. I would like to especially thank Luis, Manuel, Pedro, Job, and Beto for their attention and for the excellent cocktails. At Acua, Reyna provided impeccable service—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely kind—consistently elevating the experience. At the breakfast area in Marché, Salvador was incredible. He always took the time to chat with me and was consistently willing to help, which made a meaningful difference every day of the stay.Upon my arrival, Mizumi was closed and operating together with Carnivore, where the difference in service was quite noticeable. Mizumi definitely stands out: from the presentation by the manager, Julio César Ávila, to the way he introduces his team, creating a refined and thoughtful atmosphere. Ricardo’s recommendations and Israel’s dedication were also excellent.I would also like to recognize and thank all the bell boys for their constant support, kindness, and willingness to assist at all times—their service made a meaningful difference throughout my stay. This was my first stay here, but it certainly will not be the last.

Horrible service!- No towels on the pool area - High prices, poor service. More than 30 minutes for a single beer! No food, no cocktail, just one can beer.

Good option to stay around Punta Diamante

    rating09 Mar 2026

Great stay in Punta Diamante, very close to the airport. Overall the hotel is a good alternative in the area. What was really good was the service of the personnel, specially Sergio in lobby who made our check-in process very smooth and warm. Lucero, our waitress in Carnivore, Asunción in Marche and Beto around the pool, and Vicente in Scala Beach Club. All of them helped us having a very enjoyable time. Food was delicious in all restaurants. Rooms very basic but clean. Only suggestion: stop using disposable plastics and straws in beverages and start using hard-plastic reusable glasses to serve drinks to have a more eco-friendly experience. Also, sharing our only negative experience: we went to Scala beach club using the transportation from hotel, but when we tried to come back, the bus was not available at the indicated time (security from the club called the driver and he said he was going to be late because he was having lunch) and we had to pay for a taxi to drive us back. Other than that, it was a very nice 3-day stay in this hotel. Alejandra Jimenez, Atención al cliente/recepción at Palacio Mundo Imperial, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent visit to Punta Diamante. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that our staff contributed to such a positive experience. We are pleased to know that you were satisfied with the service you received during your stay, as well as the quality of our restaurants. Creating memorable experiences for our guests is always our primary mission. We especially appreciate your suggestions for reducing the use of single-use plastics and thus providing a more environmentally friendly experience. Likewise, I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the beach club transportation; your observations are very valuable in identifying areas for improvement and reinforcing the quality of our service. It will be a pleasure to welcome you back to your home away from home in Acapulco and serve you as you deserve.Sincerely,Alejandra Jimenez Chief Concierge alejandra.jimenez@mundoimperial.com 74 44 35 17 00 ext. 7051

    Very misleading

    rating24 Feb 2026

This hotel was listed at 5 stars. On a postive note our room was ok and the bed was comfortable. That's where it ends. Being it was as an all inclusive. The food was pretty bad in quality and taste. If they offer you dinner at the Italian restaurant don't do it. We made that mistake. The so called restaurant is located across in the convention center and actually looks like a poor attempt for a sports bar. The food was beyond bad and the red wine was undrinkable. The only positive was that the ice cream was good. There are three hotels included. This being the lowest grade of food and drinks. The other two are the Princess and Pierre which have much better food and drinks. There is a shuttle that runs all day that will take you each one which is included in the all inclusive. My recommendation is sleep at the Imperial and eat at the Princess.

The room was comfortable and a great size. Unfortunately they did not have enough staff working during breakfast hours which meant a long wait for a table (40 minutes) and lines for the different stations. The staff were friendly. The service at the pool wasn't great (I had to look for a waiter to make an order) and the music was too loud.
