  Do not waste your money at this place. It was not clean, the room was falsely advertised. The noise level at night made it impossible to sleep. The smell of sewage at the beach made me feel dirty after swimming in front of the hotel and there were no outdoor shower that I could find. The lack of customer service or even an understanding of what I was unhappy with was very frustrating. I didn’t feel safe at night due to locals partying in the ally next to our room and telling my husband that “ you’re in Mexico *****”. I tried to contact the hotel with no response so we had to call the police however they never came and the music lasted well past 2 am. From the time of arrival to the next morning we were done with this place. Didn’t want to be there at all anymore so we booked another hotel and left with 3 days left of our honeymoon. Please if your coming with the expectation that this is a nice resort/ hotel, you are mistaken because it’s not. Upon your arrival, the room was delivered in proper clean condition, following our established protocols. Throughout your stay, our team remained attentive and available to assist you at all times. In an effort to improve your experience, a room change was offered, which you kindly declined. Additionally, the following day, we once again offered you an alternative room located farther from the entrance to provide a quieter environment, which was also declined.Regarding the odor at the beach, we understand it may have been uncomfortable. However, this is an external factor caused by the natural presence of seaweed during certain seasons, a situation that affects the entire area and is beyond our control.As for the noise, it originated from areas outside the hotel. Nevertheless, we have night security staff on site, as well as surveillance cameras, to ensure our guests feel safe and secure at all times.We regret if at any point you felt there was a lack of attention, as providing attentive and timely service is always our priority. Your feedback is very important to us and helps us continue improving.We are sorry that you chose to shorten your stay and hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with a better experience.

  Magical Stay at Hotel La Palapa

  The most wonderful trip ever! We stayed at Hotel La Palapa for 4 nights and we wish it was much longer! From the service, to the staff, the beach bar, and every detail in between. Tho hotel is beautiful and everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come back

  La Palapa did not disappoint! The hotel is comfortable and well maintained. Isis, Bryan, and Ruby always made sure we had everything we needed. We adored this hotel and will definitely be back.

  Another magnificent trip to my home away from home. Always a pleasure to return and visit my favorite location and favorite extended family. I love the island and I love the people, especially those at Beachfront Hotel La Palapa. Still savoring the delicious meals from their cantina and basking in those breezes and soft sunny days.Looking forward to our return...can't come soon enough.   Fantastic experience. The location is great -- walking distance to everywhere you might want to go. The rooms are simple and clean. If you are taller (I'm 6'3"), be aware that everything is a little smaller in Mexico, but no show-stoppers. The view was great from our second-floor balcony. At night, you could hear the hustle and bustle of downtown, but the distant music was not enough to keep us up. The included breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. What truly put it over the top was the staff. Front desk staff (Isis, Max, et al) were always friendly and helpful. The food/beverage service staff made you feel like you were flying first class. David and his crew went above and beyond. We will be back.
