Decent airport hotel

A decent one night stay after a long flight before we went to our resort hotel, saved us a lot of money!Clean comfortable room, good included continental buffet breakfast, friendly staff.We experienced significant delay in the phone being answered for the free airport shuttle, which was stressful, as we only had 30 minutes of free airport wifi in a small area. They eventually answered the phone after 5 times and the driver was promptly dispatched to collect us. Smiles, savor, and Satisfaction

You'll be delighted with your stay at the Fairfield Inn, Cancun Airport. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with fresh towels and ample hanging space. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but that's the price you pay for the comfort of a good meal after a long day of travel. Considering the complimentary breakfast, the overall cost is very attractive. Furthermore, the efficient shuttle service saves you a lot of hassle and extra expenses. Now let's talk about what truly makes the Fairfield special: the staff. I'll mention four highlights of the Fairfield staff that made us feel so welcome. Selma, at reception, greeted my wife and me with a wonderful smile and attitude. Check-in was economical, and her demeanor was so friendly and warm. That was much appreciated after the day we had had! Jorge, our dinner server, was engaging and polite, and he exceeded our needs after a long and stressful day of traveling. In the morning, Erick took his time to listen to the questions we had, and he addressed them with an abundance of friendliness. Finally, Fausto, our morning server, attended to our every need and made sure that our experience was graced with his friendly demeanor. We talked at length about cooking and Mexican food, some of our favorite topics! His interaction with us was the Crown Jewel of our experience in Fairfield. Finally, can I give an honorable mention to Michelle who was pleasant when we checked out this morning. She and Selma are a great team to make customers feel happy and comfortable! I therefore recommend Fairfield as that go-to place to stay for whatever reason, especially if traveling by air. We will be back! Desk clerk with bad attitude (bad start) she looked like if she was in pain...I'm mexican, and I swear I had the worst "tacos" ever in Mexico or anywhere else in the world! Flour tortilla in Arrachera???? It's tex-mex made for foreigners taste. A disgrace! Cold, can salsa and can beans???? Plus it's very expensive. It's a robbery.Breakfast was great and abundant, full of choices. Great taste! Authentic, Mexican chilaquiles were yummi!The room floor felt so so so dirty and sticky :(Great included shuttle to the airport....BUT LOUSY one from airport to hotel due to lack of information and guide: "Call the hotel as soon as you arrive to collect you..." simple as that would have saved me $500 pesos on the taxi (who wanted $1,200) and I negotiated. Simple as giving , please, that simple , straightforward appreciated instruction. Please make it clear for your costumers that your amazing , included , shuttle to the airport is available with a call on arrival. Thank you. Hotel is a great base if arriving/departing from the airport. The hotel offers a transfer everyday half and hour and to be picked up you have to whatsapp the hotel with some details, the shuttle is also used for the Courtyard so if you need to message them. The hotel is big, with a pool. Rooms are big and comfortable and breakfast was nice. Also there is a shop around the corner for snacks etc. Finally hotel is an easy uber ride to the hotel zone if going to there.
