Location

The hotel is located in the hotel zone, only 15 minutes from major shopping centres offering craft shops, food areas, entertainment and more. It is just 20 minutes from central Cancún. The beach is 1 minute away and the site of Ruinas del Rey is around 10 minutes by car or public transport from the hotel. Bars and clubs are located some 20 minutes' drive away. It is just 10 minutes to Cancún International Airport.

Facility

87 single rooms and 113 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Extra comforts include a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and 200 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball and crazy golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as paddle boating, canoeing and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides and diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the holiday village include a gym, table tennis and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a steam bath and massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast, full board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The complex also offers snacks. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    This trip was absolutely amazing!! With honest stand out star Isreal Coach and Miguel from the members premier bar!! Honestly so many names that I fail to remember, but this in no way a bad thing, as i was met with true hospitality by everyone. Thank you so much Hotel Solaris I cant wait to be back!!

    I went there alone as an Asian traveler, but there were lots of activities. I really enjoyed Coach’s yoga and water workouts—they were super fun and well organized. I never felt lonely and had an amazing time.The rooms were very clean and spacious too!     Had a great stay overall at adults only! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a really relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all super kind and welcoming. There were plenty of great food and restaurant options to choose from—everything we tried was delicious. One of the highlights was classes with Yzrael. He led yoga, pool stretching, and pool aerobics sessions, and made every one of them enjoyable, fun and easy to follow. He’s super positive, passionate at what he’s doing and encouraging. There were a couple of frustrating moments, though. When we first arrived at the adults-only hotel, the receptionist said they couldn’t find our reservation and tried to move us to the main family hotel, which is cheaper. This ended up wasting a lot of our time and caused quite a bit of aggravation until a manager finally stepped in and resolved the issue.Also, the Solaris club membership presentation wasn’t a great experience. It lasted much longer than the promised 90 minutes, and we still didn’t get the clear information we were looking for.Aside from those issues, everything else about the stay was really enjoyable.     Great vacation. The entertainment staff was fantastic. Pool parties were a lot of fun. Manuel at the members bar was great and he was fantastic with speciality drinks at the pool parties. Lupita the pool waitress was spot on. Great service. Erica the towel woman and Pool service was also a great dancer. The restaurants were great. Veneto and bogavanti fantastic.     Wonderful trip with family.We have stayed at this resort multiple times and everyone is always so helpful and friendly, especially Edgar at the omelette bar . We will definitely keep returning.The only negative was only being able to get 3 reservations will our stay for 7 days.
