  Certainly the worst hotel I have ever stayed. No hot water, barely any water out bathroom faucet (lose and rusted fixtur), used bar of soap with hair in shower, broken toilet seat, stained toilet, 2 rolls of toilet tissue but no holder and no hook to hang towels. No blackout shade/curtain, no choice of lighting in room (one switch turns on all lights), no dresser to store items, one power outlet in entire suite (used to power mini fridge and microwave, door to balcony doesn't lock, Noisy (you can actually hear music from party/hotel zone across the lagoon). Room(s) is/are oudated. no sign of any attempt to improve. You get what you pay for. Also, room smells like a sewer. I didn't expect a 5☆, but didn't expect it to be a 1☆ either, if that. Everything is white. Looks like an asylum. No dresser to store items. I didn't think it would be bad, but it is. Stay away from this place

  Check in was ok but this place is dirty, smelly, rundown, creepy, and gross! The pool was terrible, nothing like pictures on site. No hot water in shower, microwave broken, no lock on the “safe”, holes in blankets… AC worked though.   First of , do not book this place regardless of how cheap it is if you are travelling with family and especially kids, here are the reasons why, the cleaner accused us of a smell of urine in the little towel they place in the bath room , and they incur a charge of 1000MX pesos for that, here is why I think that charge was unnecessary and unfair; no indication whatsoever in their booking contract states such charges, also if a towel is placed on the floor in the wash room , chances are there would be drops of urine especially when you have kids , they then claim there was spill of juice in the bed sheets, this buffled my mind because what’s the point of room service for cleaning available if we will be charged due to spill of juice and then again , with kids it’s likely this will always occur unless you have no kids and never been around kids you might not relate, they claim hygiene when the hotel room was full of moulds in the mattress, the walls and even the sinks , the tiled floor also have stains everywhere, I will add pictures as well as proofs, but this is to save other foreign nationals from this experience as I believe they prey on foreigners especially Americans and Canadians , mind you this experience is mainly based on this particular hotel. You can book at your own risk if you disregard this review just because the prices are great, trust me it won’t be worth it.   Looking for an authentic “ Welcome to Mexico” experience!?! 🌮🇲🇽🤔If you’re seeking an authentic Mexican atmosphere, look no further than this hidden “gem” 😊😅! The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of some great local restaurants, and there's a small convenience store nearby, making it a practical choice for your stay.I was particularly impressed with how quickly the maintenance team addressed a hot water issue—super fast response! Additionally, the hotel management granted my request, when I had to suddenly change the duration of my stay. The hotel management, provided me a refund without any hassle, which I really appreciated.I’m giving this hotel 5 out of 5 stars for our experience. However, I’m still waiting on my tax refund, so management, please ensure this is processed as promised! But I know they will!😅Key highlights:This hotel offers a chance to truly embrace the local community, culture, and lifestyle of the Mexican people..It's a mostly peaceful retreat away from the busy tourist spots, offering a more tranquil environment.Our 7-day stay cost under $400 USD, providing excellent value for money.The staff was incredibly friendly, offered guests free breakfast, and assisted my husband with his disability needs. They took care of all my requests promptly.In summary, if you're looking to fully immerse yourself in the local culture and escape the tourist crowds, this is the place. The hotel provides great value, and the staff is welcoming. Just keep your expectations realistic, and you’ll get what you pay for!Just remember in Mexico there is always, hidden and unexpected fees! Heads-up, you will pay an additional “tax fee”but it’s only $24.95. The downside here everything is about money and zero is free in 🇲🇽 . This experience made me appreciate my home, because we are the most generous people in 🇺🇸 expecting zero in return.   Awful customer service and unreachable by phone. I had 1 night reserved and reached out to the hotel 1.5 weeks before my stay to change my check in date because I had to change my flight and saw they had 8 rooms available for the new date. Me, my friend, and Expedia tried to call many times and they never picked up the phone (at least 6 different calls). They were not helpful via messages and gave me the runaround giving me excuses like changes cannot be made via messaging or phone - only by an email from Expedia to a specific email address they would not provide me and told me I could not send myself. Expedia sent the email 4 days before my check in date with no response. I followed up 2 days later. Finally got an email the day before my check in date that they do not have rooms available lol. It is a small hotel - they could have made the change via messages but clearly did not feel like accommodating because someone via message told me they had even spoken to the reservations person directly.
