    Basic - needs work

    rating06 Nov 2024

Single traveller booked for 3 nights and paid 60$ US a night. At that price the hotel is ok even though the hotel needs major upkeep.. Check in was quick, the elevator worked, there was no AC in the lobby, hallways or the gym but the room did. It was turned off when I got in so had to turn it on and get it going. Room is pretty basic with little upkeep. Stains on walls, curtain with rips, some stains on sheets, found a long hair in the sheets, some stains, but checked the mattress and no bugs so again at that price it’s fine for me. The room has a mini fridge, a safe (both worked) a coffee pod system (no coffee they apparently ran out, and a balcony. The TV worked fine with a couple English channels. There isn’t much to do around here - I went to Costco and got a hot dog haha. There is also a regular grocery store / department store next to it. There is a gas station the other direction from Costco I’m sure you can buy drinks and smokes there. I also walked around the Kabah park it was decent - lots of animals. After all that, I was looking forward to the rooftop and cool jacuzzi on it but the water was gross looking and the patio was all busted up and run down looking. Very sad looking and not very appealing. I didn’t go in, would rather have a cold shower than hang up there. The no coffee in the room sucks. I had to wait until 8am for the free breakfast to get coffee or walk 5 min to McDonald’s. Breakfast is simple but good including coffee, juice, fruit and eggs. It’s not a buffet, they bring it you.I would definitely not stay here again or recommend it. There are no reasons to stay here when there are so many better places, with a nice pool, and coffee in the room, at this price.

    Experiencia mediocre

    rating24 Feb 2024

Had to ask for wash cloths everyday, they only provided one to begin with; bathroom was not conducive to sitting comfortably on the toilet; shower door looked old; sink area also looked old; there was a large water stain on ceiling; water in shower only stayed hot for 1-2 minutes then went cold.

    Do not recommend this hotel

    rating21 Feb 2024

Would not recommend this hotel. Toilet would not flush, took three days to fix. No hot water at all. Water in shower and sink smelled like sulfa. Management would not help with water. Could not shower in my own room. Breakfast included fruit yet every day they were out of fruit.

Good Choice Away from the Beach

    rating18 Feb 2024

Breakfast consisted mainly of several choices of authentic Mexican egg dishes, coffee, and orange juice. The staff were excellent, especially Marisol and Sebastien, who helped with every question I presented. Many and varied restaurants 4-15 minutes walk. Parque Arqueologico across the street provided shaded walks and a colony of curious cote! King size bed very comfortable and nice views from two balconies. On the down side, twice I had tours scheduled that required me to leave the hotel at 8 am. No one to be found for breakfast at 7 am (as advertised), not even coffee. The "pool" and rooftop are not well maintained. "Pool" about the size of a hot tub and not hot!

    Overpriced poorly staffed

    rating02 Jan 2024

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures. No desk to sit and eat. The hot water runs out very quickly in the morning. You have to contact them and let them know and it takes another 20 to 30 minutes before you get water again. The breakfast is only eggs beans and toast. They will burn your eggs no matter what you say. For a hotel that caters to Travelers nobody speaks English and that's annoying. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. I lost my room card and they charged me another 200 pesos that is ridiculous. The gym equipment doesn't work the AC in the gym doesn't work. The hot tub upstairs doesn't work. If all you're looking for is a bed to sleep on while you go out during the day then it's fine. Still overpriced for what I got. I would not return.
