  Great location, nice facilities overall. However, there was a sewage-like smell out of the bathroom. We notified this to the staff and his response was “it must be the humidity, there was a lot of rain in the past couple of days. Obviously this was not the case, but we did not want to argue. We were going to stay there for only one night on our way to our Playa del Carmen vacation. This can be quickly fixed to make this a really outstanding place.

  Ants everywhere and no running water in bathroom

  I've never left a place after checking in but the conditions here were unlivable.There are no elevators so I had to carry all of my luggage up to the 4th floor only to discover that there was no water coming out of the sink or shower. Paco's only response was, "I know." He left for the night and did not return until the morning to give me another room with water. After traveling through Mexico for the week and driving for over 3.5 hours to get into Cancun at night, a shower was essential to a booking. He also had not explained that some of the keys to the rooms did not work well to open the doors.Cleanliness wise, there were ants everywhere, hair in the drain, and a lot of dust on the fan and AC unit so it was more noisy than efficient. If you booked through a site that says it includes free breakfast, know that that is not true either; I confirmed with the manager.

  My husband and I have been to Mexico numerous times and I must say this is the worst hotel we've stayed in. From changing room the first night, to another room. It's not like if we expect to much because trust me we just wanted clean showers and bed that was comfortable as we spent most time out exploring. Room was cleaned once in 8 days, by using the same sheets and blanket. Best thing about the hotel was the location, and Paco and Martha was accommodating. See photos attached

  First solo trip in Cancun

  I stayed in Marazul Boutique Hotel, for 2 full weeks. One week by myself and 2nd week with my partner. I had the most amazing experience. The bed was so comfortable, the room was spacious. Marta, Orlando and Laura you guys were my family the entire stay. So lovely and attentive at all times. You really did make my first experience in Cancun one of the best ever. So convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Next time I'm in Cancun, this will be my home everytime I book it'll be Marazul. Miss it already, but I will be back soon. Amazing amazing. So happy with my experience at Marazul

  Great service in a truly well located hotel! We love boutique hotels, and I must say Marazul exceeded our expectations! We celebrated anniversary and the owners really went an extra mile to make us extra happy! We were super surprised with how attentive the Concierge service is - WE COULD REACH THEM VIA WHATSAPP! Zona hotelera is super close, although we didn't get there this time as we wanted to explore the less beaten path and try some delicious, genuine Mexican cuisine (ask owners, they will help with everything!)Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We cannot wait to come back! ! !
