  Beyond expectations

  Excellent hotel in a quiet location with very few golf carts. The port, beaches, and town center are easily accessible on foot, despite the dirt roads with large puddles.The rooms are spacious with two comfortable queen-size beds and a large bathroom. The rooms also have a well-equipped kitchen.The pool with a tropical garden is beautiful, but a bit small with limited sun loungers.The breakfast served on the terrace is very good.We believe it is one of the best hotels in Holbox Island.The hotel itself is not related to the hotel, but there is a lot of seaweed on the beaches, which is a shame.

  The staff were absolutely amazing at Naj, particularly Karina, Sammy and Adrian. They were some of the nicest staff we’ve come across and went out their way to make us feel special. The pool is lovely, albeit small but does the job and the food in the restaurant for breakfast/lunch is great. We’d come back to Naj in a heartbeat!

  LAPTOP STOLEN HERE. Hotel staff did nothing about it!

  DO NOT TO STAY HERE. My laptop was stolen from my backpack during the hour it was in their luggage room before check-in. We requested surveillance footage but conveniently for them, there are no cameras in the luggage room. They refused to email us the footage from outside of the luggage room, not that it would have helped because surely they know how to be discreet about exiting with a stolen item. We then asked to speak to a manager about a refund AT THE VERY LEAST as we left 3 nights early because of this but of course, the employees at the front refused to give us their name, direct number or contact info!! I’m so disappointed that this happened and I hope that if anyone does decide to stay at this criminal establishment anyway, they keep an eye on their stuff at all times. However, we cannot rule out that you forgot them somewhere other than the hotel. From your journey to arriving at the hotel, it could also be an option to lose them.We provided you with the available videos at all times for you to review, the reason why they were not sent to Gmail is due to the simple fact that they are hours of recording, however, you were able to review them in detail.Despite everything, they took the trouble to pass it on to the island authorities, reaching the conclusion that there was no evidence of any theft and much less that the computer had entered the establishment. The reason why a quick resolution was given was due to the contradictions that were had with the police and the lack of certainty of its last location. It is very important to us that they could trace the last location of their belongings at all times and perhaps that is a point where we could understand if the computer or the camera arrived on the island.If necessary, we will continue to cooperate to clarify this matter and we clarify that we never act in bad faith.

  Clean, new, great option

  Nice hotel option. It’s public, pool space is small but charming. Modern, clean and staff were great, unlimited water refills, even ice from the bar while not purchasing their beverages. Gonzalo at the front desk was helpful and friendly. It’s relatively back from the beach but it’s a 5min walk through town and the action so a fun walk. Obviously closer to beach = $ so we found it a good option. First time visiting Holbox but in peak season the place looks maybe 30-40% capacity. Genuine feeling that they are pricing themselves out. Hotel was reasonable at 1800mxn. But everything you consume is expensive. $200 for a very average cocktail, 2 for 1 at happy hour everywhere but that’s pricey. Not sitting and eating anything for less than $200peso and fish or ceviche expect closer to 400.   Look for better options closer to beach

  Rooms are not soundproof, my sleep was interrupted by toilet flush next door and by walking steps upstairs. Surrounded area is very trashy. Local staff play music which van be heard in rooms. Rooms are spacious but as said before there is no silence, not possible to take a nap during the day and at night voices next door.
