Location

The hotel lies directly on the wide, white sand beach in the hotel quarter, beautifully situated between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupte Lagoon. A diversity of entertainment venues, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are all to be found nearby (within 30 m). The centre of Cancún and the airport are both roughly a 25-minute drive away.

Facility

334 rooms and 16 suites are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, crazy golf and golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as paddle boating, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy windsurfing, jet skiing, snorkelling and diving. Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can dine in a non-smoking restaurant with an area for smokers. All-inclusive can be booked. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for dinner). Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    I just absolutely love this resort. The cost was phenomenal on a budget. The food was light and fresh and the service was impeccable. Everyone was always smiling and friendly even though I often noticed they worked very long shifts. The only area that could see some improvement is the check-in it took a very, very long time. And the staff was a bit, overwhelmed and caused some issues with my check in the room, however, was sensational. The sleep in bed was amazing. The views out of the corner balcony room are to die for, and I will be visiting again.     I recently stayed at this hotel again, having visited previously, and overall I had a lovely stay thanks to some truly amazing staff members.I especially want to recognise Ismael Tec at the bar. He was absolutely fantastic throughout the trip — always friendly, happy, welcoming, and genuinely made every day enjoyable. His cocktails were amazing and his positive attitude really stood out. He’s a real credit to the hotel and deserves recognition for how hard he works to create such a great atmosphere.I’d also like to mention Enrique, who was equally brilliant. His bar always felt lively, friendly, and welcoming, and again the cocktails were excellent. Both Ismael and Enrique were a huge part of what made the holiday enjoyable for me.In general, almost all of the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. Housekeeping also did a great job — the rooms may not be the most modern or luxurious, but they were always very clean and the fridge was restocked every day, which I appreciated.I also booked the private round-trip transfer directly with the hotel, and that service was excellent and very smooth from start to finish.Unfortunately, there were a few areas that let the stay down this time compared to my previous visits. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast service. Apart from the cook, who was always very friendly and pleasant, the breakfast staff often seemed unhappy and uninterested. Some mornings I wasn’t even offered a drink despite arriving at opening time when it wasn’t busy, while other guests were attended to. The atmosphere at breakfast just didn’t feel welcoming and was off putting. Breakfast was moved into the Italian restaurant due to the normal buffet restaurant being refurbed.I was also disappointed with the food this year. Compared to my previous stays, I found the buffet restaurant had much less variety and the quality wasn’t great. I really struggled at times, and honestly if it wasn’t for the lobby bar food and the premium room access, I probably wouldn’t have eaten much during the trip. I was also disappointed that the buffet restaurant was closed for almost the entire stay except for the final day, especially as I wasn’t informed about this beforehand.Despite those negatives, the amazing service from Ismael, Enrique, and many of the other staff members really made a difference and are the reason I still had an enjoyable holiday overall.     Overall my family and I had a great time. The staff was really attentive, the hotel was easy to navigate. I would probably improve some food options. The desserts don't have any flavor. Great place for a few nights probably 3 or 4 at the most.
