Some Good but not the front desk

    rating05 May 2026

We stayed here mid April for 10 days and thank you Mother Nature for providing us with 10 days of perfect weather.Upon checking in we immediately felt the negative vibes from the front desk young lady.Never any kind of greeting whatsoever, no hello, no welcome only a very somber face who gave us the impression that she had more important things to do. When checking in you will be required to provide a $200 deposit , we knew this before hand and there were not any issues with this. What we did have an issue with when you check in they provide you with a wrist band that you are required to wear. I’ve been to all-inclusives many times where wrist bands are required, but never before have we been to a hotel on the island where they require you to wear a wrist band, this caught us off guard. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a king ocean view room and the view was gorgeous as we watched beautiful sunrises every morning. The room was very basic and in dire need of remodeling. There is a step up from the main room into the bathroom and one needs to be very careful of this as I bloodied up both of my big toes. The pool area and the pool itself was very nice and well kept. The hotel is very secluded and that’s what we loved most about staying here. Upon checking out the same young lady checked us out with no farewell, no hope to see you again, no safe travel, did you enjoy your stay…Nothing! Owners if you read these reviews please train your front staff personal to be more amiable, first and last impressions go a long ways.

Great central stay in Isla Mujeres

    rating18 Apr 2026

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was on a quiet road off the main area on the north of the island and as two girls we felt very safe! Our room was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy. We had an amazing balcony facing onto the pool and sea. We had an area out the front to park our buggy and it was excellent value!

    3rd year staying here

    rating20 Feb 2026

I’d give this hotel a solid 3.5 star rating. It is nothing fancy but perfect and well priced for a stay in beautiful Isla. I have stayed in many different rooms including garden, partial ocean view and on my latest stay a King Ocean Front Room. I have been staying here for 3 years. During my current stay, as you can see from the photos, my view was partially obstructed. There was a lounger out front of my room however I never got to use it due to it being taken by other guests the entire stay, not a huge issue. Unfortunately, I cannot upload the videos I took of the room. My room was never cleaned during my stay and I was there for 5 days. One day, a maid came by and gave me clean towels and took my trash. That is unacceptable and disappointing. Also, some sort of construction was going on and I was awoken to it or other loud staff every morning. Again, unacceptable. The staff also seemed to take a keen interest in what was going on in my room, to the point I could hear them outside my room snooping. The owners are lovely people and we come here to go fishing with Keen M, highly recommended. I hope they see this review and implement some much needed changes. If so, I’d happily update my review to 4.5 stars next trip.

Worst hotel that I have ever been

    rating24 Nov 2025

We stayed at this hotel and unfortunately experienced several serious issues.First, we were given a room that was not clean at all. The bathroom was dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves. Afterwards, we went to the reception to ask for cleaning supplies, and instead of addressing the issue, they were surprised that we cleaned the bathroom on our own. (As if someone needs to explain to them that we were supposed to receive a clean bathroom upon arrival.) They even asked me to take photos of everything. The second problem was that we didn’t have hot water in the shower, and the water pressure was extremely weak. We went to report it, and we waited for two hours until we were finally able to shower. We thought that would be the end of it and that it wouldn’t happen again. But the next day, after returning from a trip, we went to shower and once again had no water at all. We spoke to them again, and some of the reception staff even laughed in my face when I came to complain. They said it was “being taken care of,” and the water did return — but in the middle of the shower it suddenly stopped again (claiming someone was fixing it). What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff member we spoke with afterward. She didn’t believe us and demanded proof for everything we said, asking us exactly what time and which day each issue occurred. She didn’t understand why we were complaining, because in her opinion every problem was “already solved,” even though all of these issues happened during our very first two days at the hotel.I truly don’t understand how something so basic in a hotel can break down repeatedly, and the employees’ attitude toward guests was simply disgraceful. We asked to speak with the manager, and each time we were told she wasn’t there and would only arrive the next day.In short, a huge disappointment considering the high price we paid.We didn’t even receive an apology, let alone any form of compensation.Shameful.

    Terrible experience

They kept my deposit and never returned it. They don’t reply to my emails. The experience was terrible — I don’t recommend it.
