    Location and room was great.Entertainment was good. Room service is awesome. They are available 24 hours and they were very quick.

    We checked in to the Royalton CHIC, which was a breeze, everyone was super helpful from the bell hop, to the desk clerks, and all were very upbeat and friendly. The only major negative was being stuck with a what turned out to be a sales person for nearly an hour, who tried to get us to book a timeshare meeting or something of the sort for nearly an hour when we finished checking in. We were in a group of 6 and traveled for hours and just wanted to get to our room and settle in. Once we were done with that, however, everything took a turn for the better. From the moment we were greeted by our "butler", Arturo, he brought a charismatic, and VERY happy energy, to what had been a long stressful day of travel, and dealing with "sales pitches" for booking different events or things that might cost additional money for diamond club members. Arturo was on top of everything, from having any request fulfilled typically within minutes but seemingly as fast as he could make it happen. Marisol was also a huge help and they seemed to work as a unit or "tag team" so to say. If one wasn't available the other was. Notably, Arturo always had a smile and never seemed like he disliked his job or interacting with guests in the least. He made our week in cancun more enjoyable than it already would have been. He was helpful with answering questions about currency exchanging, where to go, what to do, and booked all of our dinners for us and made sure we got reminders on our reservation times. I couldn't have asked for much better service. I don't think him and Marisol are just great representatives of the Royalton Chic, but they are also good ambassadors of Cancun and the Mexican people. I speak mainly of Arturo because he is who I had the most interaction with but that is no fault of Marisol. She did an amazing job as well and made our family feel very welcome in Cancun. I suggest if you get the chance to visit, you try the Royalton Chic diamond club experience and hopefully you'll be as lucky as we were to get this amazing team for your stay as well.

    The location was great. We were able to walk a few short minutes to other venues and purchase well priced souvenirs. The ocean view was amazing. We slept with the balcony doors open just to listen to the sound of the waves. The room could have used a little more dusting of the furniture but the bedding and towels were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants could stand to provide a better quality, I’d give it 7/10.
