HORRIBLE. Si valoras tu dinero, ¡no reserves aquí! Hay muchas mejores opciones en la ciudad, pésimo hotel, me siento estafado como cliente por haber pagado por este despreciable servicio. Si pudiera dar cero estrellas lo haría, porque se merecen esa calificación.HORRIBLE. If you value your money, don't book here! There are many better options in town, terrible hotel, I feel ripped off as a customer for having paid for this despicable service. Had to stay here because of a non planned trip to Cancun on busiest week of the year, room was full of mosquitoes, a group of teenagers kept drinking all night long at the lobby area making noise like it was their place and of course nobody was able to tell them nothing because guy at the reception never showed up, short words place was a nightmare julio brasa blanco, Marketing at Suites Cancun Centro, responded to this review We sincerely apologize for the poor experience you had during your stay. I was looking for a hotel with a pool. This hotel faces the Parque Las Palapas where there are dozens of food vendors every night. Also lots of vendors selling jewelry, scarves, and glazed pottery. Good stopover hotel enroute to Playa del Carmen or Isla Mujeres

Cheap place to stay for one night. My room smelled heavily of mildew - nothing a good rinse of bleach wouldn't help, I would think. The bed was clean. Room was beside the pool which can be annoying or convenient. Free cold water available in the lobby. Cancun for one night

We had one night to stay in Cancun before taking our plane back home, and wanted something with more local flavor than the resort where we had been . This hotel was perfect for that. It is situated right opposite the Parque de las palapas, where every Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, there's a fair on. There were a lot of food stalls, kiosks selling curios, little electric cars for children, and music for dancing. It's not far from Avenida Tulum for shopping and a lot of side streets with quite a choice of restaurants. In the early evening we came across people dancing the "danzón" and samba lessons given at another square not far away.Having said this, if you want a good night's sleep, I would suggest asking for a room at the back. We had a room right on the street and it was a bit noisy, but the noise from the air conditioner provided the white noise. (It was not very efficient)Suites Cancun Center is a clean, basic hotel with no breakfast and no frills, though it does have a very inviting swimming pool, and there are places for breakfast not far from the hotel. While we were there, about 20 well-armed members of the "gendarmería nacional" with bullet proof vests were billeted at the hotel. A bit worrisome.
