  An Unforgettable Stay — We Felt Like Family and Will Definitely Be Back!

  Our stay at Hyatt Ziva Cancun was truly unforgettable. We have stayed at many resorts over the years, but the level of care, communication, and personal attention we received here was something very special.What impressed me most was that the wonderful service started before we even arrived in Cancun. While I was still in the United States, the concierge team was already helping me arrange our spa appointments, cabana, and room upgrade. They also connected me directly with the culinary team to discuss my halal dietary requirements before our arrival. That gave me so much peace of mind.During our stay, we were connected with a team that checked on us every day, sent us the daily resort program, helped us plan our activities, and constantly asked if there was anything we needed. By the end of the trip, I realized we had exchanged more than 65 emails! I have traveled to many resorts, but I have never experienced this level of communication and genuine attention.The food was excellent — fresh, delicious, and with a wonderful variety. I was especially grateful for how seriously the culinary team handled my halal dietary requirements. They went out of their way to make sure I had appropriate options and could enjoy my meals without worrying.Breakfast was one of my favorites. Having multiple omelet stations instead of one long line was such a nice touch. I also loved watching the pasta being prepared fresh and tossed with the sauce right in front of you. And the fried fish that I had seen people praising online before our trip absolutely deserved the praise — it was delicious!Our spa experience was wonderful as well. It was relaxing, professional, and one of the highlights of our vacation. We also absolutely loved our SP1 Cabana at the Sahara Pool. The location was perfect for us — peaceful, comfortable, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the pool. The cabana experience made our days by the pool feel even more special, and the service and attention we received were excellent.We also enjoyed the pools and daytime activities. The activity staff were energetic, friendly, and made everything fun. The entire resort was beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained.Casa de Café was another favorite. The cappuccino was honestly one of the best I have ever had, especially when they added the beautiful little heart on top. My only suggestion would be to improve the air conditioning inside the café. It was quite warm, and although I wanted to sit and enjoy my cappuccino there, sometimes it was simply too hot and I had to leave.My other suggestion concerns the evening entertainment. The performers and shows themselves were very good, but I was surprised that a resort of this caliber does not have a dedicated theater. The shows are outdoors, some guests end up sitting on steps, and performers use a cabana for costume changes. After visiting other resorts with dedicated theaters, I feel that adding one would make the entertainment experience much more comfortable and better match the high standard of everything else at Hyatt Ziva Cancun.Despite those suggestions, our overall experience was exceptional. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that during this vacation we decided to become Hyatt members. I think that says everything about how much we loved our experience and how strongly we want to return.I was genuinely sad when it was time to leave. The only thing that made leaving easier was knowing that we plan to come back next year.Thank you to the entire Hyatt Ziva Cancun team — from the concierge and culinary teams to housekeeping, restaurant staff, activities, spa, cabana and pool teams, and everyone behind the scenes. Your kindness and attention made us feel like more than guests.You made us feel like family, and we will absolutely be back! ??

  I went with my wife and three kids, ages 18, 16, and 13. All five of us would do this trip over in a heartbeat and would be happy to return. The staff are endearing. The food had more variety than any cruise we've been on. The location and quality of the water and snorkeling were above our expectations. If the kids didn't want to be at the beach or pool, there were always fun activities on the hotel schedule. We had a wonderful time making memories that will last a lifetime!

  My husband and I spent a week at Hyatt Ziva Cancun in early September 2026. Highly recommend for its pristine and abundant amenities including 3 main pools, 2 beaches with turquoise waters. We enjoyed the gym, 6 restaurants, salon and spa, gift soft, jewelry store, nightly entertainment. It felt like a town or little community. The service is the best we ever received in the Caribbean. That being said, it is geared somewhat to families with kids. However, the Turquoise Tower offers adults-only rooms, and access to a rooftop pool with no kids. We were there 6 days before we had the desire to explore beyond the resort, since there was so much to offer. And my husband and I generally do go off resort in most cases to explore food, shopping, and excursions, but we were content and entertained here longer than most resorts. Also, we rented a Cabana for this first time, and it was heavenly, they offered cold towels, massages, coconuts with water, and personal waiter services throughout the day, and the price was reasonable.

  Great Stay and Service at the Ziva!

  What an amazing stay at the Hyatt Ziva! The service is top notch! Anyone we came in contact with was there to please and serve with a smile. The food was great from breakfast omelettes and quesadillas made fresh to habaneros the fish was so fresh! The spa was amazing we got a couples massage and had a whole hydrotherapy session that was included that was such a great way to get ready for the massage.

  Hyatt Ziva has always been a favorite of mine for many reasons. The colors of the ocean cannot be beat. The staff is always outstanding. This last trip, sous chef Monse Guzman went above and beyond. She treated us like royalty. Her dishes were out of this world!
