Guests have a choice of 18 rooms located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Great location, proper service. Best hotel we stayed in on the yucatan. I would ask for a room away from the restaurant otherwise you risk being woken by children and the rooftop suites with pools whilst lovely are noisy all night with carts.

WARNING: Deceptive financial practices. Villas Flamingos accepted and understood my cancellation 23 days in advance via WhatsApp (admitted in writing), but manually delayed the transaction to J-5 instead of their mandatory J-7 protocol just to seize a 50% penalty ($3,460 USD). Complete radio silence from management since then. Look elsewhere if you value honest merchants.

Gorgeous hotel on a stunning island.

We loved our stay in this beautiful hotel and wish we had stayed for longer than 4 nights. The rooms are gorgeous and the Island of Holbox is stunning. We had a bungalow arena and bungalow Cielo, both were stunning and we loved the way the shower comes out of a log. The hotel was very helpful in restaurant recommendations and helping us to arrange a bioluminescence trip. The adult pools are very nice- perfect temperature and very relaxing. The hotel is one of the furthest from the town but the walk in, along the beach is very easy when the sun is going down and the temperature is more comfortable. It's very easy to take a golf cart taxi back to the hotel and the prices are fixed. We thought we needed more cash than we did- most places seem to accept credit cards.There was much less sargassum than there was when we visited Playa del Carmen the week before. A really useful point is that they have insect repellent free to use for guests located in the reception and also at the bar and restaurant. I found this amazing- I did not get bitten while using this. I was eaten alive in Merida and Chichen Itza despite using my own repellent from the UK. I would definitely like to return to this hotel- perhaps when it is the season for the whale sharks!

A perfect slice of paradise at Villas Flamingos

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Villas Flamingos—truly one of those bucket list experiences that lives up to (and exceeds) every expectation.From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were welcomed in the sand-floor reception with the most refreshing strawberry lemonade served in flamingo glasses—such a fun and memorable touch that immediately set the tone for our stay.The location is unbeatable. Villas Flamingos sits at the quieter end of the beach, with what feels like endless stretches of soft white sand. We loved walking for miles along the shoreline toward the protected area, where the crowds disappear and the island feels completely untouched.Our second-floor room had a beautiful ocean view through the palm trees—peaceful, breezy, and exactly what you dream of when you picture Holbox.The included breakfast each morning was fantastic—fresh fruit bowls, avocado toast, chilaquiles, and more, all enjoyed with an ocean view. It was the perfect way to start each day.What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Gabriel kindly helped us with our luggage upon arrival, and throughout our stay, Andre, Samantha, Jesus, and many others made us feel genuinely welcome. From delicious fish tacos and mezcalitas to thoughtful dinner recommendations, their hospitality elevated every moment.Villas Flamingos is the perfect balance of relaxed luxury, natural beauty, and warm, attentive service. We left already dreaming about coming back.

The location is great, peaceful, beach is fantastic. Lots of space to lay around lazily, good towels. Service is either great, mainly at the restaurant/lunch area, but not warm at reception desk. Suite was beautiful but the shower is highly impractical, water going everywhere, same as the sink, not working well.
