This is not a 5 start hotel. No hot water, noise between rooms, old installation, no maintenance at all. In the gyms half of the machines are not working, Omar Maya , Director General at Camino Real Guadalajara, responded to this review Estimado Sr MoralesMuchas gracias por compartir su experiencia.Estamos de acuerdo con usted y por ello hemos terminado con la remodelación de 100 habitaciones. My very worst expirience

    rating28 Sept 2025

It was our worst experience in the hotel sector… a hotel that charges slightly higher prices, which wouldn’t have been a problem if we hadn’t gone through what we did.We paid for 3 rooms for 3 nights, and all 3 couples had issues with their rooms. One smelled like sewage in the bathroom — as soon as you walked in, the feeling was horrible. The second room had no hot water; they moved the couple to an even worse room, ugly, old, and neglected, and only later gave them an upgrade to a better one.In the third room, you had to shower drop by drop. On the last day, we decided not to shower at all to avoid the stress.Honestly, if you’re planning to come here for the World Cup, think twice… you’ll surely find better options. In the end, they gave us free breakfast for the last day, but they were clear with us that breakfast was only for one person per room.A thousand apologies, Camino Real, but I will never book with you again. Omar Maya , Director General at Camino Real Guadalajara, responded to this review Dear Guest:We want to thank you for share your coments during your last stay with us.The boiler and water system in the hotel has been resolved. We started a program about renovation of our rooms, restaurant "La Huerta" meeting rooms and public areas. In the near future que going to have and excellent and beatifull hotel again.I would like to compensate you in some way, let me know an email pleaseWe hope to be your hosts again.Warm regardsOmar Cesar MayaGeneral Manageromar.maya@caminoreal.com.mx
