The hotel has 550 rooms, including 260 single rooms and 140 double rooms, which are located on 42 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     We have stayed at Riu before and continue to not disappoint us. Perfect location for people that want to be near the airport and for those wanting to see attractions like museums and Tlaquepaque. For the most part the service was top notch, the Roof Top is a must see; however, we experience that at times the service was very slow. I had given them 4 stars, but I am taking under consideration that the nights we went were during the week which could have impacted the level of service from great to mediocre. I suggest making a reservation for the Roof Top. The ambiance throughout the hotel is hype and clean. Our room was very comfortable; we stayed in room 3504

    Loved the hotel and service! It was close to everything, only 15-20 min uber rides to all the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were clean and spacious. They had entertainment pretty much ever. Night we were there which was great to see. I loved the rooftop bar, the only issue we kept having was the hostess at the rooftop bar. She didn’t want to let us in with sandals but we pointed out that there were lots of girls with sandals and she retracted what she said and let us in. Then the night before, she sat us inside (we were the only people inside) and she said she had no tables outside. After she sat us, we went outside and the waiter said you can sit there, he had lots of tables. So I’m not sure why she kept giving us issues.

    I had a very nice stay at the Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara. The hotel was very clean, the amenities I used were well maintained, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of options.One of the highlights for me was the 360° rooftop view. It is absolutely beautiful and offers one of the best views of Guadalajara.The staff in general were very friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more pleasant.The only thing I found a little disappointing was the parking policy. Considering this is a five-star hotel and we were staying in a higher-category room, I was surprised that parking was not included and had to be paid for separately on a daily basis. I completely understand paying extra for valet parking as an additional service, but having to pay simply to use the hotel’s regular parking lot felt a little unexpected for a five-star property.Overall, though, I had a very good experience and enjoyed my stay.

    The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom and the shower very large and with a perfect strong water jet.Great outdoor pool and excellent gym (recently restored).However, the structure needs some refurbishment.     The room not special amenities but is well-put-together and very relaxing. The shower has great water pressure and feels wonderful. Breakfast is excellent.
