Big Hotel !!!

Located in the business district of Guadalajara... the hotel is huge ... we arrived on a late Sunday afternoon and the hotel was basically empty ...Service was friendly ... the lobby bar ran out of Siste Leagues tequila which I was dumbfounded ... such a big hotel and to be running out .. don't they keep a computer inventory and when it runs low they order more ?? found it strange. Anyways ... hotel has valet parking at a modest $5 USD a day ...the room was large but its in a bad need of renovations ... good for the 1 night we were there. Air Conditioner worked great.Hotel is about 25 minutes away from the airport. Not a 5 star hotel ... a solid 4 star .... Tired and outdated hotel.

It was for sure a good hotel 30 years ago but it is clear it had no renovation until then. It is sad and tired hotel that screams to be updated. You feel in a late 70's hotel but you pay for a 5 star hotel. The hotel is old but has been renewed and it’s very well conserved. Really nice breakfast and awesome location. There is a mall and supermarket right across the street and I felt very safe in this neighborhood.There is a swimming pool and small 24-hour gym. Worst 5 star hotel I have ever been.

It is NOT a 5 star Hotel, its more a 2/3 star hotel. Made a mess with my laundery (they cleaned the white clothes with Blue and got stained), I gave a list of 8 different things that where wrong in the bedroom over night and did not make an effort to fix. The hotel staff were nice and appologetic but I think there is a lack of management! A rejuvenated 5 stars experience!

Rejuvenated 5 stars experience, after a review.For his 80th birthday month, I wanted to treat my #hubby @enriquedlz to a five star experience at a French restaurant called Bistro La Bastille. I was persuaded by a charming manager Leonardo Cadena who listened well, agreed that what we had last night fell below their standards.He persuaded me to dine once more, in his words, "recover the quality of the experience you wanted." I told him I am not looking for comps, just great quality to what I am used to at #ViadeGuadalupe. It turns out the Galileo wine is what they serve at this restaurant, which hubby approved of. I also told him I would be taking such a big risk. He smiled. His demeanor persuaded me as he was sincere. We paid for all the orders and they gave us free dessert. Of course, the bouillabaisse was served and this time, it passed in quality: fish was fresh, tender and shrimp was fresh and sauce was great. I told the manager to train the chef and send him to learn with the chefs in #viadeguadalupe. Earlier, he had sent a plate of petit fours and a written apology signed by him and on the letterhead of the GM Patricia Chapman.This is 5 star service. Tonight we got 5 star quality food experience. I got what I wanted to treat my hubby.#intercontinentalpresidente #guadalajara
