Very disappointed, will not return
03 Jun 2020
The staff member at registration desk was so slow, it was taking up to 20 minutes for her too register customers, a huge line developed. We booked two rooms and neither key worked, we had to return to front desk 4 times before they worked. The restaurant was closed and the location did not have any neighboring restaurants so we were unable to eat dinner. The grounds were in disrepair, hard to take my dog for a walk. There was no hot water for a shower. Staff was not helpful at all. Will never return and do not recommend to travelers.

I wasn't expecting much, but still very disappointed
29 Jul 2017
First of all I am very aware that for the cheap price we couldn't expect much. Haven't said that, the experience was very bad. The rooms are OK, again, I wasn't expecting much. First of all the hotel corridors were not clean. The floor was clearly not clean. Second, the hotel was full of kids that were running around the corridors and nobody said anything. In the room the A/C was working fine, but the bathroom was broken. Had to flush several times for it to work. WiFi didn't work, at all. I just stayed one night (thank goodness) and the next day we were eager to leave. I told the front desk guy about all the issues and he gave little to no importance to my comments. Bottom line, please lower your expectations. Good A/C and a bed, this is what you are getting for the money you are paying. 684ecommerce2, Director Comercial at Hotel Zar Guadalajara, responded to this review Dear guestWe greatly appreciate your comments to help us solve the problem, for Hotel Zar Guadalajara it is very important to meet the expectations of our customers that is why we constantly work on training for our clients as well as our facilities based always on a corporate supervision as well as on the comments of our guests.I look forward to the opportunities to serve you again and you can see our improvements.

The motel was clean quiet the staff helpful. Overall we had a pleasant experience. We had 3 rooms and one room didn't have hot water. Everyone was impressed with the place. I have family that lives 5 minutes from there so probably will be back 684ecommerce2, Director Comercial at Hotel Zar Guadalajara, responded to this review Dear guestWe really appreciate your comments, we are very pleased that Hotel Zar Guadalajara has met your expectations!
