Location

This hotel is located just 300 metres from the sea, at one end of the city's seafront promenade, just 5 minutes from the historical centre and 10 minutes from Pilar's Museum of Anthropology. Guests will find restaurants, bars and links to the public transport network just 800 metres away and the nearest shops are 1 km. A number of sights of interest lie in the surrounding area including the Catedral de Nuestra Señora del Pilar (1 km), the Teatro de la Ciudad (2.5 km) and Plaza la Paz (3.5 km). The hotel lies just 20 minutes from La Paz International Airport.

Facility

5 junior suites, suites, 31 single rooms and 88 double rooms are available to guests. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     Location is excellent . Can walk to Melecon although we drove . Clean , comfy! Staff great . Nice pool and courtyard . Will stay there again. Room clean bed comfy.     My family and I had a very unpleasant stay in Araiza Palmira late March early April (Easter Vacation 2024). We originally booked our stay for a total of 13 nights/ 14 days to enjoy some family time in La Paz. BUT about 5 days into our stay, some of my belongings were stolen! We reported the incident to the managers on site, and after a 4-day investigation, we sat down with the head Manager of the hotel, Israel, only to come to the conclusion of no live evidence of my belongings being stolen/taken out of my room! Other than me and my husband, there were only 2 additional people who entered our room, the cleaning lady and her manager. I am disgusted at the thought of someone actually going thru my luggage and hand picking the items of their liking and taking them with no remorse. This is the first and absolute last time we will ever stay in Araiza! The last 5 days of our stay were absolute torture! as the word got around within the employees of my complaint, my family and I would get mean stares and sometimes even attitude from some of the staff. I am so happy to be home and leave this very unpleasant experience behind. Please be very careful if you stay in this hotel!!! My family and friends know of this incident that live in La Paz, and I hope they spread the word around advising everyone, to stay away from this Hotel.     Comfortable stay

    We stayed 5 nights. Clean, comfortable beds, great pillows, could have used a couple of easy chairs. Large pool, though water was cold but seating area around the pool was comfortable and relaxing once they turned down the volume of the music on request. The breakfast buffet is a must, great selections, a la carte options, fruit, yogurt, +++. Great coffee. Also because the hotel is kind of outside the business area it would take a bit of a ride to have breakfast.We used UBER and taxis( which were more pricey than we are accustomed to in Mx)

    I made the mistake to book several rooms for me and some colleagues for an important meeting we had in downtown La Paz. The internet stinks. It is impossible to get anything done that needs internet access. We had to find cafes and restaurants downtown that had internet access to stay after meetings and be able to work. Besides, the hotel is ran down and is evident. I could hear anything that happened in the rooms next door, no privacy.
