  Clean space outside and inside, no noise at night, AC, ample parking with lights in parking lot. The bed was hard, and there was no hot water. We tried taking a shower at night and in the morning thinking the temperature may change, no luck. Asked for some money back when checking out and they said it was too bad things didn’t work out for us. That if we needed hot water we need to come to the front desk and request it so they can do some sort of process upstairs to release hot water. The benefit was basically just having a bathroom and a sink since we could have slept in our van and been more comfortable.

  This was the worst hotel in all Mexico , in the middle of the night I woke up thinking my dog was feeling bad cause there was a very unpleasant smell of excrement, I went to the front door and the receptionist told me that there is some kind of fabric or something so the smell is almost all the time , the wi fi connection is very bad ,almost none , they advertise that they are pet friendly but there is not even a single area for pets and even if your dog is s service dog you have to pay a fee and the hotel Has permanent guests wich think they are the only ones staying there so they will for example play basketball in the aisle or calling to each other screaming.If you want to relax this is not the place , even if your tempted by the price believe me is better to pay a little bit more than waking up in the middle of the night with a nasty odor 😷

  new installations, nice and really comfortable. It is close to the downtown and it has a shopping mall just infront of.   I really liked staying here for several days in February 2014. The hotel was quite clean, the staff was very very nice and helpful, and the security guard and I laughed a lot. Wasn't too much of a breakfast, but it was good enough for me. The only thing I didn't like was the annoying person trying to convince me to take a whale shark tour with him when I already had one with someone else. DON'T try to shove your bombastic, pompous attitude down my throat!!! Just ignore him and you'll be fine. That's really not the hotels fault he's like that. He might be new as a tour operator or he might be desperate for money, which is understandable in Mexico. Anyways, there is a really nice grocery store across the street where you can get almost any Mexican food you could want. You're not too far from the airport or downtown. Both cost about $15.00-$20.00 to get to by taxi. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay here.   It's really ok.

  My plan was going to Cabo, but things didn't go as planned. I ended up in Hotel Zar, and I have to say, maybe it's not five stars and all that stuff, but I had a good time. Despite I was dissapointed because of my trip, Hotel Zar was a good place to stay for little money.
