?????????? An Absolutely Amazing Stay at Riu Santa Fe!We had such an incredible experience at Riu Santa Fe! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and well taken care of.The resort itself is beautiful, with an amazing atmosphere, gorgeous surroundings, fantastic pools, great entertainment, and plenty of options to keep everyone happy. There is always something happening, yet there are also plenty of places to relax and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.The staff throughout the resort were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Their smiles and willingness to go the extra mile really made a difference and added to the overall experience.The food, drinks, service, entertainment, and overall resort atmosphere made this such a memorable vacation. We especially loved the relaxed, fun atmosphere and the fact that there was always something to do.Riu Santa Fe gave us exactly what we were hoping for — a beautiful place to relax, have fun, make memories, and enjoy some much-needed time away. ??????We had an absolutely fantastic vacation and would 100% return to Riu Santa Fe. Me, my husabnd went there at Santa Fe if was our first time there , the resort by itself was beautiful , they didnt asked us any securify deposit which was nice , food was excellent , we loved the food , they had great buffet , so many pools there , there are water park for kids and adult so family can go there as well. Staff was very friendly , vegiterian options were avilable for me i was happy for that . Over all it was fabulas stay at Santa Fe . Definetly going back there and takeing my kids there .

Comfortable rooms, but disappointing service throughout the stay

My wife and I had a disappointing stay at Riu Santa Fe. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and we enjoyed the Riu Party. Most staff members we met were kind, but the hotel seemed understaffed, and the service fell short of our expectations.At check-in, we were charged the hotel tax and given only brief directions to our room. We then spent over ten minutes walking in the sun with our luggage, trying to find our building. Once we found it, we discovered there was no elevator and had to carry everything upstairs ourselves. The signs were insufficient, and there were few staff members available to guide us.Housekeeping was also disappointing. I understand that towels left on the floor are meant to be replaced. We did not leave ours there because we were happy to reuse them, but they were left exactly where we had placed them. The bed was made, yet the room received little other attention. Even folding the towels and placing them somewhere clean and dry would have made the room feel better cared for.At the buffets, I sometimes cleaned a table myself or got up to find a drink because the servers were covering so many tables. Drinks at the bars required waiting in line, and we did not see drink service by the pool or beach. The beach loungers had no shade. The buffet food felt limited and repetitive; after waiting about 40 minutes for the Asian restaurant, we found another buffet that did not feel different enough to justify the wait.What ultimately made me decide not to return happened early on September 23. I paid Pilar at the Sports Bar to play pool, but her shift ended before the game was enabled, and I did not receive a refund. At reception, the night employee, whose name I understood to be Xoxhiteotzi and whom his supervisor called David, told me that another company operated the games and that I would have to contact Pilar myself. His response felt dismissive. His supervisor, Jorge Flores, was more polite and took my room number, but I received no follow-up or solution. The amount was small; what bothered me was the lack of help with an issue that happened inside the hotel.We had some enjoyable moments, but the service did not match the image the hotel presents. I would not stay at this particular property again.

Amazing break from reality (particularly for the budget conscious). The property was immaculate, and the facilities look new and well cared for. Staff was friendly and helpful (especially Renato at the front desk). The weakest point is the food (typical cruise/ all-inclusive fare).

Check in was at 3pm. We checked in at 3:30. Our room was not ready yet. We were told 30-40 minutes until it was ready and they would send me a text. 1.5 hours passed and we still did not receive a text so we went back to the check in desk and finally got our room. It was disappointing to have to wait for our room after a long day of travelling. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, which we were very thankful for. The daily temp. was around 96 degrees with one welcomed day of thunder showers. Grounds were very well maintained. Food was average for an all inclusive. We had no complaints about the food. In the afternoon the pools were like being in a warm bath. Not really refreshing after being in the hot sun. Staff were friendly.There was something at the hotel for everyone. Many pools, daily activities for all ages, waterslides for the young and young at heart. A Riu party every other day, and nightly entertainment. We had a great stay!
