  Best place to stay in Santa Fe Mexico City!

  This was my first time in Mexico City. I came for a tradeshow and stayed at the Santa Fe AC hotel Marriott. The location was perfect for business and close to many FITNESS facilities and restaurants. The front desk was very hospitable and accommodating with all my questions and even offer me late checkout on my last day I especially appreciate Jaqueline and the entire staff treated me and our group like family.

  Deceptive and in Disrepair

  - Room not ready at check-in => Gold member telling them I get there at 2.30pm and they still cannot get a room ready- Suite cleanliness average at best- Several doors in the suite not working (some that can only be opened using brute force, some that cannot be opened at all without breaking them- Several lights not working in the bathroom area- Shower and bathtub in the room => no way to use them without waking up your spouse in bed- Only one sink, and in the toilets, no sink area near shower or bathtub- Terrace is shared with all rooms on the floor & gym & pool with 0 privacy, when the suite was advertised with a terrace without saying that there was no privacy- Nothing whatsoever on the terrace, not a single chair or anything => disingenuous to advertise a suite with a terrace and not make it usable at all

  Restaurant staff were great. Front desk staff consistently rude and uninterested in their guests. The rooms were standard with some things missing making things awkward. If asked for something not sure the front desk staff actually listened to you or understood you. Generally stressful.

  This is a nice business hotel. Friendly staff, and a good location in the outskirts of Mexico City. I don't think I was upgraded due to Gold Elite. Status. Room basic and small, but functional. Excellent pillows and hard bed. No water issues. WiFi was not very strong. The cel 5g reception was non-existent. To conserve water (which is a real issue in DF), hotel asks if one wants to hang towels and reuse. I did, but they washed anyway. Some items not replenished. Ate at restaurant one time. No one greets you, so I sat down. Service is slow, but everyone courteous. Food was OK. Breakfast buffet was ok. Could have been more fresh fruits and juices. The room service shines and was super easy and fast. There is a small of sewage in the hotel, st my room level , floor eight - near elevators. Their circular drive has some gates. They do not allow Uber drivers to pick you up at front of hotel - which is odd. Should I return to this area, I would choose a different hotel.

  Persistent Issues During My Recent Stay at AC Marriott Santa Fe

  Dear Management,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding my recent twelve-night stay at the AC Marriott Santa Fe. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a series of recurring issues that have persisted despite previous attempts to address them.Firstly, I encountered a lack of water throughout my stay. This recurring issue has become increasingly frustrating (as I documented in an email in June of 2023), particularly on the higher floors where it seems to be more prevalent. After several days of complaining, I have been offered various explanations ranging from scheduled maintenance to neighborhood-wide issues, but these excuses do not align with my experiences at other Marriott and Hilton properties in Santa Fe. It is disheartening to witness this fundamental amenity consistently unavailable, especially when it affects multiple stays over several months.Moreover, the condition of the rooms provided to me only compounded my dissatisfaction. Upon arrival, I discovered that my original room lacked basic toiletries such as soap, and upon relocation, the replacement room was in an unacceptable state with overturned trash cans and a complete absence of essential amenities like towels and shampoo. Additionally, the absence of a TV remote and the pervasive odor of sewage in the hallway further detracted from the overall experience.Furthermore, my dining experiences at the hotel's restaurant were consistently disappointing. Despite the promise of a hot buffet, the food was invariably served cold due to malfunctioning warming devices. The staff's demeanor was consistently rude and unprofessional, leading to prolonged delays in service and frequent errors in my orders. It is disconcerting that basic requests such as syrup for hotcakes require extensive pleading, and the ongoing confusion regarding my inclusive breakfast only adds to the frustration.In light of these persistent issues, I demand compensation and urge you to take immediate action to address the underlying issues affecting the quality of service at AC Marriott Santa Fe. As a loyal Marriott guest, I have come to expect a certain standard of excellence that, unfortunately, has not been met during my recent stays. I trust that you will prioritize resolving these concerns to ensure a more positive experience for guests in the future.
