  The Kind of Thoughtfulness You Don’t Forget

  We had a wonderful stay at AR218, but what stood out most was something completely unexpected.During our stay, my daughter left a handwritten note for a fish at the hotel. After we checked out, the team reached out to let us know that the “little friend” had received her letter—and then they sent us a beautifully written, personalized response from the fish, complete with a wax-sealed envelope and illustration.It was thoughtful, creative, and incredibly well executed. More importantly, it made my daughter feel seen and valued in a way that went far beyond typical hospitality.As someone who works in customer experience, I can say this is one of the most intentional and memorable experiences I’ve come across. It wasn’t about luxury—it was about care, attention, and creating a moment that actually mattered.Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful, well-located, and thoughtfully designed. But it’s the team that truly sets it apart.We won’t forget this, and we’ll absolutely be back.

  We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. The staff was great. For the price, you can’t beat the location. We had a large suite with a terrace. The gym could be better but overall we had a great experience.

  Perfect location, ammenities and service

  Our family in Mexico recommended the Condesa area for our 8 day stay in Mexico City and we found AR 218 online. Were very very pleased by the room, which was in fact a suite, y large bedroom, sitting-room/kitchenette, well appointed bathroom. Lots of storage space to unpack fully. Service staff were delightful, friendly, helpful. AC worked well, all the mod-cons. We were suffering from altitude sickness so didn't try the gym. Couldn't have been happier with our stay.

  Perfect Hotel in Condesa

  We stayed at AR 218 in the middle of January 2026 for a week. Everything about the hotel was perfect....room, staff, cleaning, amenities etc. There was never an issue with noise. Bryan and his staff at the front desk were more than helpful anytime we had a question. Importantly, the hotel is in a perfect location for the visitor who like to walk around and explore the best parts of a large city. Coffee shops, great restaurants were at the doorstep. The neighborhoods within walking distance were incredible.Best of all, we never felt unsafe anywhere we walked throughout the city. Plenty of police presence everywhere meant no room for anyone to act up. Finally, the people of the city were more than kind to visitors. We would go back to MC in a heartbeat and recommend the city to anyone looking for a world class adventure. Yes, world class, as I have travelled the world throughout.

  Good Choice in La Condesa

  Small hotel with lovely rooms in a great area of Mexico City (La Condesa). Our room was relatively small but modern and clean. We did have a small outdoor private terrace which made it feel much larger. The bath was a bit tight but well appointed. This hotel has minimal services (no restaurant or room service), but does have a small exercise room and a nice roof top area (no service there). Staff was lovely (no concierge services, just reception. There is a Starbucks in the front which was nice, however there are many small, authentic caffès on virtually every street corner that we preferred. If you are looking for a clean, efficient hotel room in La Condesa at very reasonable price, AR218 is a good choice. I suggest go for the larger rooms with a patio if you can.
