    Exceeded expectations

We changed to this hotel after I realized I wanted something with AC, and we were so glad we did. We were originally planning on staying at an amazing boutique hotel but we decided we wanted a few more amenities. We stayed in a 4th floor suite with two separate entrances to a large balcony, a living/kitchen area, and a lovely large bedroom. There was a washer dryer which was wonderful because it allowed us to pack a bit less and not deal with checking bags. They provide you with laundry pods, coffee, free breakfast (simple but decent, the coffee was really good). There is a doorman and that is the only way to enter, which provides an extra element of safety, although definitely never feel unsafe anywhere near this hotel. You were literally directly across from Parque Mexico, which was so dreamy. We walked everywhere, you can walk to Roma Norte, all through Condesa, basically anywhere within a mile or a mile and a half we just walked to. Ubers are also very easy to use and pick you up right at the hotel and are between three and five USD each. We loved everything about this hotel and although it was slightly more mainstream it still had a very lovely feel to it and was quite beautiful. The service was good. I will gladly stay there anytime I’m back (which is hopefully soon!) There was also a lovely place to eat breakfast, a terrace on our floor (maybe all floors?) and fresh fruit water each day. Filtered water bottles (glass yay) were filled each day for you, daily Housecleaning, if you needed more water, there is a water filling station in the basement and extra glass bottles you can get. This is definitely the place to stay! Also the AC definitely came in handy. Although the weather was lovely it was nice to turn on for a bit if needed.

The very definition of true hospitality!

    rating01 Jun 2026

The rooms were affordable and spacious with lovely bathroom that stayed pleasantly warm from skylight even when AC was running full tilt in the bedroom. A full fridge and kitchenette with breakfast nook was also handy and a Nespresso machine was definitely a level up from Keurig knockoffs you see all over these days. A very nice continental breakfast with plenty of protein options, fresh-squeezed juices and excellent coffee was included. The hotel was small (16-20 rooms) and boutique so wasn't filled with people in the lobby which was nice. The intimate bar served excellent craft cocktails with local ingredients like hoja santa in their custom mescal creations. The location couldn't have been better, between the Roma Norte and Condesa neighborhoods right on the Parque Mexico which is also a gem of an urban park to stroll. Now, let me commend the staff of the hotel, which I feel is the highlight of this review and our experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, baggage, etc. but where we really experienced exceptional commitment to the guests was from the concierge Carla Milanesi. She offered fantastic first night restaurant and craft cocktail bar recommendations and also struck up a WhatsApp chat with us that allowed easy communication for the remainder of our stay. We had a unique circumstance arise in that a medical device we always travel with was inadvertently left behind at our home in the U.S. which caused a great deal of stress and anxiety as we had to navigate international shipping via Fed Ex to try and get it to us. The experience with Fed Ex was terrible and led to multiple phone calls, misinformation about delivery attempts, customs/duties payment that was not transparent, and ultimately required an hour taxi ride both ways to a very sketch industrial part of the city to ultimately get the device on our final night before return home, lest it be lost in the shipping warehouse system of Mexico permanently. Through all of the difficulties, Carla was an incredible advocate and even made an impassioned 30-min plea over the phone to the FedEx rep I had to negotiate with in person to get the package, since my Spanish wasn't up to the task. I can't express fully how grateful I am for her valiant efforts on our behalf, and that is why I feel she and the staff of the Casa Mali embody the definition of hospitality in a way rarely seen in the modern hotel industry. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we will definitely return here!

Perfect Location Lovely Place to Stay

Casa Mali is in an excellent Condesa location. The hotel is lovely. The staff is helpful. It is well kept and clean. There is a great deal of attention to details in the rooms. I like that there is a doorman. I also appreciate the attention to sustainability with no use of plastic bottles and our room included organic and inorganic waste bins. I also enjoyed the healthy breakfasts. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

    Class and privacy

    rating22 May 2026

If you cherish your quiet time in an excellent location, with breakfast, genteel staff, room with kitchenette and washer/dryer, terrace, and private entrance then this is the place for you. Compared to other boutique hotels, this hotel is one of the classiest.

Perfect home base in Condesa neighborhood

    rating11 May 2026

We spent eight nights in a junior suite and it was a perfect home base for our ambitious siteseeing plans. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a beautiful park across the street. Great being immersed in greenery along the many safe walking paths. Carla the concierge was super helpful! Everything is spotless. We highly recommend this hotel!!!
