  Not a good place to stay

  The hotel needs a lot of TLC maybe years ago was a good place but right now it is not.The beds were so hard to sleep on it, bathrooms need works and get better towels for the customers, althoug, the place was clean and the service was good specially at the restaurant, but it needs a lot to be consider under the international standards.   This hotel does not offer elementary facilities such as an electrical plug near the bed. You have to charge your phone on the other side of the room. The wifi is intermittent. My room was very noisy. The service is not good.   Functional and convenient

  This is not a luxury hotel, but definitely safe and clean.I stayed here with my family for a few nights. There is free parking and a security guard watching your car. It is very close to the subway station, so it offers quick access to many touristic areas such as zocalo.It won't have all the amenities, but the price is very reasonable. If you need a clean place to spend the night near the south of the city, this is an option to consider.   Room stinks like cigarettes. ..Very rude and they end up overcharging me..   The worst service ever

  Last October 11th we were in that hotel, the bride rent about 8 rooms and previously talked with the manager about the services we will required. When I arrived to get ready for the party they did not allow me to enter, we spend 40 min trying to solve the solution the manager was rude, also some other guest were checking out given the terrible service they were receiving. This guy was not only having no idea about what customer service is about.I needed to pay more to get into the hotel. That without saying that was not very clean, and that the rest of the employees were giving a terrible service, if you need to stay I recommend to select other hotels in the zone that might have a much better service 361VeronicaJ, Manager at City Express By Marriott Ciudad De Mexico Tlalpan, responded to this review Thank you very much for your comments. As we informed the wedding coordinator, the hotel has a policy that does not allow visitors in the rooms that are not registered guests of the hotel. In addition to this, the bride's rented rooms were also at its maximum capacity for the special rate assigned to the bride's group. I apologize if this policy was to you sort of speak "rude" in your own words. When we offer you to rent an additional guestroom, you emphaticaly responded that "you were not paying for utilize our services". As you may understand, we were servicing our customers at the time and, if other guests pay to utilize our services like get some rest, get a shower and prepare for the wedding, we cannot be unfair toward our paying guests; although we made an exception in your case for you and your relative paying as extra persons so you could use the hotel services. I hope you understand the hotel has certain policies that are focused to cover our internal service expenses in addition to support all the services and amenities delivered to our guests.
