    A good place for the money “NOT THE BEST” but acceptable, a little run down not well maintained in the room, we formed dried blood in the pillows, staff did not change it after we left it out for them to see… the shower head was very moldy… BLACK MOLD… towel road broken and loose, I left it on the sink for them to fix and they just prop it back there without repairing, we have missed our daily ration of bottled water twice… I’m surprised for being a Marriott… the front desk staff was welcoming and friendly though… Gerencia General City Express Plus Patio Universidad, Otro at City Express Plus by Marriott Ciudad de Mexico Patio Universidad, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us.     Good place to stay in a shopping area in Mexico

    Good 1. Located in a very central and commercial area (lot of shops around) with great accessibility through the metro which was around half a mile away 2. Very friendly and helpful staff 3. Room was comfortable and spaciousCould have been better1. The breakfast could have had more variety and options, especially for vegetarians as the menu was limited 2. While connectivity was great through the metro, it is a bit far from the main tourist attractions in the city

    The staff were incredible from beginning to end. The room we had was big and perfect for a family. Nice views of downtown. Breakfast in the morning downstairs was good. Easy to get an Uber and cool restaurant we went too and taco stand walking distance.

    Great location for business but a very, very basic hotel. No closet, no microwave, no refrigerator in the room. Continental breakfast is available but servers and cooks do not use any gloves to handle the food. After I asked, they answered that is not customized for them and that is the way they manipulate food. I won’t stay in this hotel again.     AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    The staff at the hotel are the absolute nicest people. However, the mattresses and pillows are groos, old, and will give you back issues. We stayed at the hotel for about 2 weeks. After the first unbearable night, we asked to be switched to a different room in which the mattress hadn't collapsed unto itself. 3 rooms later we were put in a room where the bed wasn't too bad.I experienced unbearable back aches all through out our trip which made it really hard to walk long distances when exploring all the museums and sights in the city.I would NEVER stay in another City Express hotel. This place wasn't cheap and our experence was outright horrible. Cityexpress Pat...
