  Best last stay in Mexico

  My son and i had our last 2 days in Mexico spent here at this hotel. Upon arrival it seemed pretty upscale compared the the others we stayed at despite being basic here in the US. There were definitely more foreigners staying here compared to the last 2 hotels we stayed at. Once you enter you there is a restaurant to your left that opens during the afternoon, the reception desk is just ahead. The receptionist was kind the first day but the next couple she kind of wasnt all in like then. But that wouldnt cause us to feel anyways about this incredible hotel. The snack area was well stocked with multiple items at a very fair price, along with a microwave. In order to operate the elevator you needed a key, which was awesome and good for security purposes. Like the last couple hotels in order to operate the lights and such, you needed to place the key in a slot upon entering to do so, once again very cool and smart. The room was located on the 4th floor, I opted for a I believe a junior suite which was a bit big but almost felt like a basic size room in my opinion. The bed was amazing, big and comfy, the AC was decent just felt a bit hot on the bed truly. The TV was a good distance from the bed but that was fine, they had a coffee machine with free coffee. There was only 1 free bottle of water here, the shower was nice and big. That seems to be the thing down here big showers. Besides soap and lotion included, they had a box of shoe cleaner there also. The gym here was the most incredible gym for any hotel I have ever been too, it was huge lots of equipment to do multiple things and not have to wait to use something it was my favorite. They did include breakfast which had a pretty big selection that was excellent, but the most incredible part was their fresh squeezed drinks like orange juice, grapefruit, or strawberry, and even pineapple they tasted so good!! The hotel is conveniently located although it is near a pretty rough neighborhood according to my dad who lives in the city, we just didn't venture that way but we did travel to 2 markets that were both within 2 miles of the hotel. There were great food stands near by as well, when you leave the hotel just stay left for 2 blocks and you will find everything. There's local stored who offer lots of stuff especially drinks at a better price than oxxo which are equivalent to sheetz or chain gas stations here, expect to pay alot more there. There's also a very good bread place down from here thats amazing. If your child's into Legos there a place down the street I stated and at the market almost 1.7 miles from here with lots of figures. Other than that we had a great time and this hotel was an eye opener. Uber is definitely the way to get around very safe for sure .

  The perfect hotel when flying in and out of MEX

  We live in San Miguel de Allende and fly in and out of Mexico via MEX. We have been staying here several times a year for the last 3 years. This is an excellent hotel for the price. Here are the pros fort this hotel.Located 15 minutes from the airport an 19 from Norte bus station.NewLarge quiet roomsThe most comfortable beds I have found in a Mexican hotelIn room coffee making facilities Excellent free breakfastKiosko across the street In hotel restaurant Great restaurant next doorVery cleanFriendly staff

  Great hotel for the price

  This hotel is very good for the low price we paid. It’s new, clean and provides a good free breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. We always stay here when we arrive by air as it’s only 7 minutes from Norte bus station. We highly recommend this hotel and have stayed here many times.

  Good Potential, but Major Issues with Price and Service

  I recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. While there are some positives, there are several issues that need to be addressed, particularly regarding pricing and customer service:Room Condition: The room was clean but bare, lacking amenities such as washcloths, a refrigerator, or a microwave. The shower had drainage issues, and the water temperature never reached my preferred heat. The flooring was uneven, and the wall had visible punctures, which was disappointing.Breakfast was included, which was a nice touch, but the food could have been fresher. The buffet-style setup didn’t offer much variety, and some items didn’t seem appetizing.Amenities: The property offers several on-site amenities, but the staff failed to inform me about the fitness center or other guest facilities, which could have enhanced my stay.Front Desk Service: My interaction with the front desk staff was inconsistent. One staff member was unprofessional, while another was efficient and handled the check-in process well. However, there was no internet or TV service in the morning, and when I requested to speak with a manager about the issue, my request was denied. I was also not offered any compensation for the inconvenience.While the property has potential, the issues with room maintenance, poor customer service, lack of communication, and questionable pricing make this an experience I can’t thoroughly recommend. If you choose to stay here, be prepared for unexpected issues and consider looking for better value elsewhere.   Basic hotel comes at a price

  Basic 3-star hotel with the brand assurance of IHG. Prices reflect that brand power rather than the quality of the accommodation and facilities on offer.Big clean room with no natural light. Small, obscured window into inner "tunnel". Shower just fine, separate toilet.
