The worst hotel experience in CDMX

    rating26 Apr 2026

The worst hotel experience i've ever had in Mexico City (perhaps anywhere in the world to be honest). Please for your own sanity, well-being, and experience avoid this hotel at all costs. The hotel 'seems' as if it was a cool boutique modern hotel in the middle of the city, but rather what you get is a run down hotel, with unhospitable and rude staff, no real amenities, and the entire experience is just super awkward. It is hard to know whether you're staying at a boutique hotel, a motel, a rundown hotel, or a hostel. In some ways its all those at once. A truly horrible experience. I paid for one of the best rooms (last floor with terrace), and not even this could help me from my fate. The room had no A/C (even though i paid for a room with AC), which btw why is this even a thing? Shouldn't they all have A/C considering its $180-$300/night rooms. I called twice, i went to the reception, and on both nights I told them to please fix it or do something. Instead, they did nothing. Offered no solution, and didn't care at all. I had to sleep at 28 degrees celcius (82 F), for two nights. And not only that but there were mosquitos that bit me all throughout the last night. And it wasn't only me, I saw another guest that was having issues with the keys and asked to the front desk what happens if key stops working in off-hours if there's nobody in front desk. And the reply was "just make sure it doesnt happen, dont put your card next to your phone because it deactivates it".....I would go on a huge rant about all the little things, but I'll just say it very simply: Do not do this to yourself. There's so many better options in CDMX that are either way nicer, or more affordable -- than staying in this run-down, understaffed, awkward, poor quality hotel -- that pretends to be cool and boutique. It is neither. It is a poor quality hostel at best.

    Very disappointing experience

    rating25 Jan 2026

Sadly staying here was really disappointing- the hotel was being renovated and facilities were closed- and we were given no warning in advance. Staff (apart from door guy who was great) were really unhelpful & rude. Rooms were overpriced and uncomfortable. A shame.

    The worst experience

    rating19 May 2025

The worst service! I went for a day pass and the chairs at pool weren't ready at 12 pm, that is supposed to start at 12 pm the day pass.I asked for the chairs, because they told me were going to be ready in 15 minutes but 30 minutes after, there weren't ready at all, I asked if the could prepare the chair I wanted and a guest was arriving at the same time I was asking and the employee told me like "they are going to use it already". I got so angry because I was been waiting 30 minutes and they told me "you should have used the only one when was ready" but I didn't want that chair. Then they quit me the umbrella without say anything to give it to other guest. I wouldn't come back never! So sad, because I think is too cool this place

don't stay here at all costs.

    rating17 Feb 2025

This was a terrible hotel. Not as advertised. Needs a major renovation, our room and bathroom had black mold. The hotel has an eerie vibe and is in a bad location. We checked out after one night and the hotel claimed to give a refund but completely scammed me for the full amount despite the written cancellation terms. Pay attention to the reviews and don't stay here at all costs.
