TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!Avoid this hotel if customer service matters to you.This was my second stay at Hotel Lepanto. My first visit was okay, but this one was a disaster.The room was average and not very clean. Every morning, hotel staff talked loudly in the hallways, making it difficult to sleep.The worst part happened on our last day. My wife and I asked a housekeeper if she could air-dry a few clothes since the hotel didn't have a dryer. She agreed. When we returned around 9:45 p.m. to catch our midnight bus, the front desk told us they couldn't find our clothes.We waited over two hours while staff searched, but no one knew where they were. Because of the hotel's mistake, we missed our bus and lost nearly $200 in non-refundable tickets.The night staff tried to help, but the daytime manager, Laura, and her team showed no urgency, accountability, or concern. No apology. No compensation. Nothing.To make matters worse, because we refused to leave without our belongings, the hotel charged us for an extra night—almost $100. We ended up paying more because of their mistake.A hotel should protect its guests' belongings and take responsibility when things go wrong. Instead, we were treated as if our time, money, and property didn't matter.I cannot recommend Hotel Lepanto. There are many hotels in Mexico City that provide far better customer service.

For the money and closeness toBus station Nortg!!We owe so much to Laura and MikiAt the front deskShe helped with our San Miguel de Allende bus tickets She was extremely helpful !!!$And miki was adorable helping withOur luggage The accommodations were just fine While traveling through for the nightAndIn the DODO bar at the hotel we drank The best margaritas we both ever hadBreakfast next morning was perfect Really gd cappuccino and husband Had eggs and delicious beansWe will stay there again Thank you,Lauren Berdy John White

OMG! Hotel Lepanto – Definitely Not a 4-Star HotelLocation: Not what I expected at all. The neighborhood felt unsafe and far from what you'd expect for a 4-star property.Hotel: The entire place looks more like a hostel than a hotel. From the lobby to the reception, everything felt basic and underwhelming.Construction: The hotel is currently under construction—including the lobby, elevator, and rooms. This was not mentioned at the time of booking.Elevator: Still under construction, which made moving around with luggage very inconvenient.Room: Extremely disappointing. There was a strong smell of paint, and two large construction fans were left in the room.No shower door or curtainNo temperature control for the water—either too hot or too coldNo space to place toiletriesNo towel racks, no bathmat, no face towelsThe duvet was placed on top of the bed, not inside the sheets as per standardBed sheets were too small for the mattressWindows couldn’t be openedThe iron was in terrible conditionBreakfast: Very poor. I didn’t even stay for the coffee and ended up going to a nearby café just two minutes away.Positive Note: Guillermo (or perhaps Enrique) was the only bright spot. He was kind, helpful, and deserves to work somewhere that truly values his dedication.This is, at best, a 2-star hotel. The current state of the property and the overall experience fall far below what’s expected from a 4-star rating.

Good service, everybody was nice, although the hallways had a strong scent somewhat like burnt plastic, the hallways were somewhat dirty, and our towels were ripped. Would recommend for a simple trip considering the good area. Excellent staff and pleasant experience. Calming & relaxing. For those who like the quiet stay; this is it.Price is cheap and have dining area too.
