  Potential Ruined by Bedbug

  The location was great. Breakfast was ok. And it was cutely decorated. But that pretty much is overshadowed by the fact that the first room they put me in (013) had a bedbug sitting right on top of the bed to greet me as I walked in. It's highly concerning considering I found a review on the hotel's website from just a few weeks beforehand that room 009, just around the corner from my first room, also had bedbug issues. I've found a few older reviews on different travel sites that also mentioned bugs, so I'm concerned that they aren't addressing the issue properly, if at all.I booked the hotel through my credit card's travel portal and management never answered calls made while I was on hold and I never received any update that the hotel responded to the travel portal's email. Only after I sent a complaint to Wyndham and found some contact emails for this particular hotel group to send photos to support my complaint did I get any sort of response from management. They said they opened an investigation into the issue and would look into the non-responsiveness. I got extra points added to my Wyndham member account only once I complained. During my stay, I got put in a new room, but there was no sort of follow-up or attempt to provide any service recovery at that time.Luckily, the new room didn't have any bedbugs that I could see after I tore apart the bedding and lifted the mattress up. But I did find several hairs tucked in at different levels of bedding, a nail clipping, and even a used Hello Kitty bandaid under the mattress. The Wifi and cell phone reception was practically non-existent in my room, but luckily, they have a beautiful rooftop to sit on (luckily for me, I was always able to be up there alone).I think that this hotel has a lot of great potential, but with bedbugs and cleanliness seeming to be ongoing issues from several reviews I've seen (not just an off day when I was there), I couldn't recommend this place nor consider staying there again.   Great Hotel!

  Very pleased with my stay here! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Roma and easily walkable to restaurants, bars, museums, and public transit options. The hotel is clean and the staff are very attentive and hospitable. The breakfast is standard (fruit, pastries, toast, eggs, cereal, coffees) but good for a start to the day. The gym is tiny--with a treadmill, stationary bike, and some weights, but it is still good for a decent workout. Overall, I would definitely return here and would recommend!   Overall quite worth the price.

  Excellent beds, good breakfast but too monotonous, staff helpful but be ready with Spanish!. Shower floors are slippery and water pressure weak, but rooms are kept clean. A good value and excellent location. Don't forget to enjoy the rooftop for relaxation.   The conditions of the room were disgusting and give credit to the saying, you get what you pay for. There was visible mold in the shower due to the fact there is absolutely no ventilation in the room that it would allow for the moisture from the shower to escape. The windows are unable to be opened. There were also numerous times during my shower where the water would almost essentially cut off while I stood and waited for it to return to the barely there water pressure that I started the shower off with. In addition to that the shower ran cold most of the time or scorching for minutes. There was barely any comfortable in between. I can overlook the uncomfortable mattress because that’s likely a personal preference, but there were numerous hairs found on my bedding. The towels were also disgusting and I wish I had included a photo to show that used conditions they are in. I did ask on numerous occasions, at least three times, to speak with a manager, and was continuously told that they were at a end of month meeting so they could not be reached, but would reach out to me when available so as much as I hate to post this bad review, I did in fairness give the manager time to reach out to me and feel as though I’m only doing my due diligence to warn others before booking this hotel.
