    Great Hotel in the CDMX Historic Center

    My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Ritz for 7 nights. We really had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The 2 double bedroom was pretty big overlooking the main street on the 6th floor and was quiet. The location was great as it is so close to all the activities, restaurants and bars. Jose the front desk person was very professional, courteous and very helpful. This will be our home away from home the next time we're in CDMX. Highly recommended!!!

    In my opinion, the Ritz Ciudad is a good 3 stars and not a 4 stars hotel. The entrance to the lobby is ugly and inconveniently one floor above the street.The room service is not available in night hours. The room is clean but lacks on things like tissue paper. The bathroom is old and the shower curtain old and dirty.

    This location is unbeatable, it’s near the plaza and the day of the dead festival will be right outside the front door. Edgar was a huge help at the door in carrying our bags and brushing up on my Spanish, with advice on the events of the weekend.

    We had a delightful week-long stay here. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially helpful to us was Victor, one of the bellboys. We were on the verge of missing our complete hot air balloon tour yesterday, and he not only accompanied during a tense 45-minute wait for our transportation at 4 a.m., keeping us entertained with his knowledge of Mexico City, but also lent us his phone to resolve the problem. We would not have been able to do that prepaid tour without his exceptional willingness to help out. We also enjoyed being on a pedestrian-only street, great for people-watching. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

    This is a really good choice for a trip to Mexico City. It is perfectly located in the Centro Histórico on a pedestrian mall- type street loaded with shops and restaurants. My room was spotless as well as comfortable, the daily maid service was excellent, and the rate includes a buffet breakfast of the kind you would expect to find only in a much more expensive hotel. The staff are all super friendly. I am so happy I found this hotel.
