Location

This hotel is located in the relaxing area of Mexico City, direct on the Zócalo. The town centre offering numerous shops and entertainment venues can be reached within a few minutes walk. A stop for the local public transport is located right in front of the hotel (just 10 m away).

Facility

    This was my second visit to CDMX and the Zocalo Central. We were greeted by helpful doorman Jose Luis and taken to the front desk where we were offered a towel for our hands and a shot of tequila or mezcal. The staff at the hotel is wonderful: shout outs to all the friendly faces at the front desk including (but in no way limited to) Karina, Fer, Josue, Alexa, Valeria and Christian. The concierge staff was always helpful too.One of the nicest parts of the stay are the complimentary drinks and bites downstairs and the delicious buffet breakfast overlooking the Zocalo. It is top rate. The wait staff, especially Karen, was awesome every morning. We also had dinner there and it was delicious. Try the Noa Noa cocktail if it is in season. Just one heads up: we stayed in room 114, a suite overlooking the Zocalo. It is a lovely, well-appointed room. However, it is multi-leveled: there was a quick step down to the main room, and another into the bathroom. The steps are not big, but I did trip once when not paying attention. As a safety feature there are lights on the steps that stay on all night. If you need a dark room for sleeping, I would suggest a different room.Want to feel like you are royalty? Stay at the Zocalo Central!

    The Hotel was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating. The views from the rooftop restaurant are beautiful and the hotel is located next to the beautiful plaza and there were plenty of wonderful eating places within walking distance.
