  Beware. No way to sleep in this mental asylum!

  Terrible place. Not a chance to find rest or even sleep. The elevator is disturbing even 15meters from you. The breaks are audible inside your room. The doors are made of paperlike cardboard. How can this cave have gotten 4 stars?   Noisier than being on a cargo plane maintenance terminal. Wifi not working well. Bring you SIM card!

  Terribly noisy. Like sleeping in an airport maintenance hangar. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not ever forget who is writing four and five star reviews. People that have never seen a real four or five star hotel. Just have a look who leaves a real unbiased review for this hotel. Mostly foreigners. Paperthin walls, you think these stone age guests are in your very room ! I had to change the room as they gave me one across the elevator which has the brakes on top of the cabin,not in an extra machine compartment on the roof (to save some miserable pesos). So you could hear the motor noise all night long through the paperthin doors.They have tile floors everywhere Then you get the unfriendly reception staff without any clue of what to do. They give you a coffeemaker with a sign to buy the pathetic coffee pack at the reception. 4 stars? Ha Ha ! Also you can listen to the cleaning staff at 7.30 am yelling throughout the hallways, even their conversation on the walkie-talkies and I’m not even mentioning the ubiquitous door bangers all day round. Their guests are even worse than their doors. Oh yes, wifi just works sporadically. This is not a hotel,but a mental asylum. You can hear the hairdryers in the rooms around you !After the 2 useless reception girls lying into my face about no available rooms to change to I insisted talking to the GM which was the only friendly person in the whole ‘hotel’. She mysteriously found a quieter room for me . Strange,ey ?My goodness what a terrible place. Don’t come if you need to sleep or work online. Both won’t work in this hotel.You get what you pay for . Don’t forget.I won’t ever come back.Thanks again to the GM for resolving, or at least trying to resolve this ordeal. She was the only proactive and friendly person with a brain in the hotel.   The free breakfast is not worth it

  I visit Puebla every year and I like to try different hotels. This time I choose Misión Angelópolis. Now, I regret that.The Hotel by itself is very basic, but that wasn't the problem. The room is small and badly distributed - the bathroom is as big as the bedroom. The first night I washed my hands and the hand towel was dirty and with stains. I complained about it next day and they told me they will check it out. They never left another hand towel because they did not have any more!I stayed for 5 nights. Only the first day they left amenities and water after that we had to ask at reception for more! On the 4th night I was planning to leave my room around 1 pm and they kept knocking to clean the room. I mentioned I was going to leave at 1 pm they went three times asking if they could clean the room until I had to put a do not disturb sign. The last night they never even cleaned the room even though I put the "Please clean the room" sign.Summarizing the food was meh, terrible cleaning service, not very good location, basic room. The restrooms next to the restaurant very dirty and I forgot to mention very noisy, someone was singing around 8 am and people running on the hallI do not recommend this hotel and of course I would never come back.   This is a good hotel, very clean and all Covid measures are taken. The check in and checkout are done remotely so we don’t need to sign any paper, I felt safe with Covid issues. The staff is great and the breakfast is good. Perfect for a quick and nice stay in Puebla. I recommend this hotel.
