This attractive hotel lies directly beside the beach in the tourist centre of Puerto Vallarta. Links to the public transport network are a convenient 800 m away.

Facility

The resort has 214 rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     This was my favorite location on this side of PV: it had great speciality restaurants, activities, and responsive staff.Here’s what happened last week: A/C not working: room never got below 77° F. They offered me the room next door: same thing. Got a large fan so at least air was moving. Turns out the entire tower 3 was not air conditioned: found out by interviewing other guests. Each day a new excuse: almost every day a promise of someone coming in to fix the system. Never happened, and I understood enough Spanish that the reason why they didn’t put me in an air-conditioned room was that it was a higher price point. Other infrastructure issues, too: mildew, unsecured screw ons. also lacking in personnel for some activities, missed cleaning & fridge filling once each in 5 days. Some great staff, though: maître d’In Paradise remembered me from the past; chef for breakfast knew my order after 3 days.     Falsely advertised on website. Rooms outdated. AC not working. Not cleaned enough. Some staff rude. Do not stay here. Whirlpool on balcony looked so unsafe we didn't use it. Any previous updates were just paint on top of paint. Multiple holes drilled into the sliding door where the latch was. Bathroom dark and dank with mold in some spots. Calcification build up made the stream weak. We were so disappointed. The one vent cover in the room was bent badly and the inside was was disgusting. The refrigerator did not work. No phone in room, so we had to leave to go make our issues known at the front desk. No microwave. This place needs new management. The lounge chairs around the pool were soiled and in disrepair. Multiple chunks missing out of the concrete. I can't stress enough: DO NOT STAY HERE.     Everything was great, food was good, staff were amazing, and the grounds were kept very nice. My complaint, was that the air conditioning in 2 rooms were not satisfactory, and it was very hot. The other is the sneaking of smoke and vapors at the Breeze bar, and no one around to tell them to stop. Its a great resort and most of the staff are exceptional.
