    Modern, Comfortable Stay with Great Shopping Access

    We stayed at the Fiesta Inn Puerto Vallarta for two nights before heading to San Pancho, and overall it was a very comfortable and modern stay. The hotel itself is sleek and well kept, with an extremely comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and plenty of towels—always appreciated after a day of travel.One convenient feature is the restaurant downstairs. When we arrived, we ordered the check-in burger and it was really good, which was a nice start to the stay. The hotel is also built into a mall, making it very convenient for shopping or grabbing essentials. There is underground parking, which was great since we had a car.The hotel does have a pool, and we spent some time sitting poolside. Unfortunately, ordering drinks and food took quite a long time, and the pool water itself was a greenish, cloudy colour. There are also two hot tubs on site, but both were freezing cold, so we didn’t end up using them.The hotel is not very close to the beach, so it’s better suited for a short stay or stopover. I would have given this hotel five stars, but the lack of a balcony brought my rating down. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the evening with a glass of wine or a cold drink. Interestingly, our view was more appealing in the evening than during the day.We did not have a free breakfast option included, but we did eat breakfast at the hotel on our first morning. It was approximately $30 CAD per person and offered a lot of food options, which we appreciated.One thing to keep in mind: if you’re looking for something to eat late at night, you’ll need to order in or take a cab into town. There is, however, a restaurant across the street, which is handy.Overall, a solid and comfortable hotel with some great conveniences, especially for a short stay or for those who enjoy modern accommodations and easy access to shopping.I would definitely return again!

    We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The hotel room had a partial ocean view (somewhat blocked by high buildings between us and the ocean). The rooms were quite modern and very clean. Front desk staff went out of their way to help us when our booking.com reservation was incorrect (our fault). In spite of their no cancellation policy on booking.com, they managed to correct the dates of our original reservation without charge. Our reservation included a breakfast buffet that was extensive and open until noon. Very good! Outside the buffet, there is a very nice pool (and a kiddie pool) with umbrellas and chairs. They supply the towels in this area. Each evening and morning they placed hot beverages and cookies by the elevator on our floor (5th). There is a small coffee maker in the room but we never used it due to this. There is no mini fridge in the room. The hotel entrance is a little difficult to find....our cab had to pay for underground parking to drop us off with our luggage. Once we figured out the ins and outs of the entrances though, it was easy to navigate. There is a very modern mall surrounding the hotel for the shoppers. Transportation to the Malecon (we used the 10 peso public transport without any difficulties) was very easy.     This is a European style motel with prices of high class hotels… perfect if you are on a business trip but stay away if vacationing Location is good from most aspects but this is where it ends!     The hotel was located in a shopping mall! This was perfect for me, since I am a shopper. It is located on the main street going into downtown and there were plenty of taxis to pick you up to take you to the downtown area. The restaurant in the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful since my Spanish is not the best. The room was spacious, and the view was spectacular!     Staff stole items from our lugages.

    We have been stolen several items in our bedroom. I recommend you lock your lugages. Restaurant is very expensive and we were happy to opted out the meals. Beach have Crocodiles preventive panels. Good luck!
