Location

This hotel is located in the northern area of Puerto Vallarta, in the safest and most exclusive quarter that is ideal for business travellers. The lively harbour is just a few metres away and the town centre with its numerous shopping and entertainment facilities are around 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The international airport is a 5-minute drive away.

Facility

The hotel has 22 single rooms and 74 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a desk are also available. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include cycling/mountain biking, aquafit, a gym and a spa or, for a fee, massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. A variety of catering options can be booked. Guests can choose between bed and breakfast and all-inclusive. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request.     We started a week’s stay the day after the “event” and was so happy to feel secure and welcomed in this charming hotel., perfectly located within easy walking to stores and restaurants.Granted, it would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room, or at least availability in the lobby, plus a mini fridge, however the price was extremely reasonable and one could walk to the hotel restaurant easily for ice as well.The fresh fruit, yogurt and omelets made to order, as well as nice pastries were welcome if not interested in the various Mexican hot dishes. There was a variety of fruit infused water plus Mexican coffee. We found the service extremely accommodating. All we needed to do was ask and the AC was turned down a bit, leaky shower head immediately fixed and hot water temp increased. We totally enjoyed our 3rd floor balcony with amazing view of marina and the pool.I agree there should be a rule about not leaving a towel on a lounge unless you are there. Having a free shuttle to the beach is a nice option.We would not hesitate to return nor recommend it to our family and friends.

    We would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. We had all inclusive option. The food was terrible. The food handling practices were even worse. Also there was never hot water. Service was okay but not great. Nice grounds and pool. Okay for a few nights but don't eat there. Lots of choices nearby. We couldn't wait to escape. The reviews are very misleading!!!!

    No hot water, tv not working, horribly kept rooms, we only needed 3 rooms for 1 night and that was all we could take. Customer service was "fair" at best

    We booked Flamingo Hotel in Marina Vallarta for a first-time visitor friend. The location is excellent and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Rooms, however, feel a bit dated and stale, and even small details like towels could use updating. Price matches the product, but a few improvements would go a long way. Great location — needs refreshing.

    This place is old school but awesome! Great beds & linens, very clean, beautiful grounds. Wander around Marina, enjoy the many restos and drinkipoo establishments. Nice balconies with views of garden & Marina. Nice pool and deck. Beware the all inclusive - it is NOT all inclusive (thus the 3 stars, not 4). You can only have on tap beer - no Corona in a can unless you pay 48 pesos. Also, no good hard liquor, basic cheap stuff. The food was mediocre, at best (and cold). Great stop over for a couple nights on way to airport but can’t imagine spending a week here.
