This hotel lies beside the beach at the heart of Playa del Carmen, within one street of the Quinta Avenida. The pier, a selection of shops, bars and nightclubs are close by and it is 3 minutes walk to the ferry to Cozumel. Cancún international airport is approximately 40 minutes away, a bus stop is just 150 m from the hotel and the Plaza Central is 250 m away.

Facility

4 single rooms and 29 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. This holiday village has a lift and a 24-hour reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has 33 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the terrace, where guests can enjoy a quick break or relax for hours. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, beach volleyball and golf are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy snorkelling and diving. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A spa and massage treatments are available in the wellness area.

    Quaint little Mexican hotel.

    Over all we had a good experience. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We had two hotel rooms and both were clean. Beds were comfortable, everyone slept fantastic. The air conditioning kept the room temperature very refreshing. We had no issues with them working properly. I gave a rating of four. A couple of reasons for this, nothing really bad. As several people have stated on here, it is an older property and needs some TLC. The doors lock properly, no problem with that. Unfortunately in both rooms, the safe did not have locks we could use. We carried our passports on us all the time. In the afternoons the pool had a murky tinge to it. Not a big deal for us because the hotel is right on the beach. We had the covered veranda room and it was literally out the door and on the soft sand. With the hotel being beach front, the staff gave us wrist bands so we didn't have to pay for any beach chairs. A bonus!Just down the beach is an ocean front pub/club. Music is played until midnight usually. You can hear it. The music didn't bother us, they played good tunes :)The hotel is in a great location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. The ADO bus station is just a block away. Close to several coffee shops. To recap, it's a nice little hotel with fantastic staff. The cleaning staff would come around daily if you wanted your room tidied up. Great ocean view with a nice breeze to help keep you cool.

    Our experience was rated 1. This place is GRoSSThe place doesn’t look like the picsSwimming pool cloudy and brown :(Rooms not great, mattress are old and brown. They don’t have bed cover, means that if someone pee in this bed you are more likely to sleep in a clise contact to the mattress. I’m saying this because the sheets are so thin and do not stay in their place, as soon you sit sheets mi Ed and you can see how the matters look ( NOT Appealing) *The shower OMG was SUPER GROSS,I wanted to vomit , dark, really small, looks really dirty from a horror movie. Was the must horrible thing on the room.*The cleaning wasn’t great. We went to reception looking to cancel but we couldn’t since we did it online.I asked for a different room they give us one on the second level. * No elevator, pretty inconvenient if you carry with a lot of luggage.* Rooms are smelly, * Water stinks too. Since we couldn’t cancel the reservation we only stay 1 night out if 3. We didn’t care to loose the money and next day we moved to a different hotel. *The water The only good thing is the location right at the beach that’s all !!!!! I don’t recommend this hotel.

    Such false advertising with this hotel. I only had a night in playa and this place ruined it. It was all just disgusting. The rooms did not feel clean at all (see pics), there is no sound insulation so you can hear people banging and moving in their rooms until all hours of the morning. The pool outside is horrible. I just felt unclean and unsafe there. Also no where to store luggage. Terrible hotel, not even worth the location, a hostel would be better quite frankly

    Rooms are well kept and serve their purpose for tourists, which is sleep and waking up to the sunrise on the beach. Very nice cost for the amenities. Breakfast is lacking but expected at the price. Desk staff is friendly but do not understand English at all. You may not drink on their beach chairs unless you purchase their drinks! You may drink on the sand in front of their chairs though... The beach staff was nice enough about advising of this when I brought more drinks out from our room. All in all, this place is worth checking out if money is an issue.
