  Do not ever go to this hotel!! We stayed one night, an hour after we left I realised I left a pouch of all my jewellery, contacted them immediately. Told it was not there!! And then they put the phone down on me and booking.com!! Several times!!! Total lies and dishonest through and through.. ruined my trip. Avoid avoid avoid DayTrip791422, Director de Recepción at Caracol Suite Hotel, responded to this review hola buen dia señorita Melora, se dio seguimiento a su queja realizada, se le indico que en el Hotel no dejo ningún articulo o bolsita de joyas, lo único que estaba en su habitación, fue una pieza de zapato, de la misma manera se canalizó a booking.com para seguir con su queja. lamentamos su pérdida. pero en el Hotel no dejo ningún artículo antes mencionado.De acuerdo con el recepcionista que lo recibieron ustedes llegaron de la playa en estado de ebriedad, probablemente se le cayó ahí o lo dejaron en algún otro lugar pero aquí no.

  We invited this hotel to our first night in Playa and for the rest of the week, after we arrived in our room we had a scorpion in the room. We were very frightened and were very surprised by the lack of cleanness, the sheets were dirty and the towels. When we called the receptionist to see the scorpion in the room he laughed and toyed with the scorpion, We were horrified and asked for a refund for the nights we were supposed to stay there. We were treated very humiliatingly by the receptionist, he could not speak English and ignored all our inquiries, I would not go further than that. Just say do not come near this place, just terrible!

  Had a very bad experience:1) at check-in, they told us they did not have a key for our room, but that they can lock and unlock the door for us2) aircon blocked at 27°C...3) TV not working4) ceiling fan making huge noise (can't stop it because aircon was not working) 5) no hinge6) no towelsWhen we complained they told us that we had to buy the hinge and that the aircon was perfectly working, only the display was wrong and that the air was flowing out at 17°C... I'm an engineer, I know the difference between 17 and 27 °C. When I asked to talk to the manager the receptionist lied by saying he was the manager...

  Just look at the photos.The room cant be locked, the sheets are dirty, and the crew was terrible!!!They wanted to charge us more than we need to pay.Very bad experience, we recommend to choose another one of the many hostels in playa del carmen.

  Good for 2 nights. Just for sleeping. Location is OK - nearby to the beach and 5 th avenue. Simple basic breakfast : coffee, toasts , jam & honey - served for free every morning ( you may take it to the room)
