  Fatima the desk representative along with the rest of the staff went out of there way to take care of all my needs. I would definitely stay there if I return to Playa Del Carmen. Cityexpress Pla...   Nice rooms with maintenance issues

  Rooms have a good size and a modern style but they have maintenance issues. Our room had a connecting door and it was uncomfortable to be listening the playing and shouting of the kids next room. We changed room a the desk chair was full of mold, the safety box wasn’t working and the toilet had no pressure.The awful part was the Front Office manager told us we couldn’t be changing rooms because the staff gets bamboo by the management. I asked to speak to the General Manager at 9:00am to explain the issues and I was told he arrives after 10am. In the end, we finally got a good working condition room without any apologies for the inconvenience and a upset front office manager. Cityexpress Pla...   Very noisy hotel

  We asked for a quiet room and still we were woken up at 5am with the breakfast staff. Really spoilt our stay.Never used the pool. Gym had just had a new floor so smelt of glue and couldn't be used. Room and bathroom OK.Breakfast was OK.But a shockingly bad sleep spoiled our stay. Cityexpress Pla...   A comfortable stay fairly priced.

  Great place to stay in Playa del Carmen. This hotel is clean, comfortable and decently priced. The rooms include a small kitchen, desk, choice of beds and shower stall bath. It is kept clean, and toiletries are provided. The only thing they did not have were face towels or wash cloth. The room has obviously AC and blackout curtains so sleeping in until the afternoon is possible. The staff is helpful and friendly and the breakfast will sure get your day started. This hotel is not a beach front resort but it is close enough to the beach that you can either walk or bike there. There's a clean pool and grill if that's your thing. I visit Mexico for its cenotes, beaches, culture, and regional food, so this place while not a resort is in a pretty centric location with everything nearby within minutes.

  Hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is very helpful. The suites are well appointed and clean. There’s a pleasant pool area with nice tables, chairs and loungers. The breakfast had scrambled eggs with sausage (and they were real eggs), yogurt, cereal, breads, beans, nopales, very nice fruit selection, green and orange juice, milk for cereal, cold meats and cheese and lettuce, tomatoes and onions. And of course coffee and tea. Unfortunately the bed was extremely hard so I did not sleep well. If you like a super firm mattress this is for you. Don Sirloin is across the parking lot which we found reasonably priced and very tasty. Rolandi’s is also across the lot which is a very good Italian restaurant. If the bed was better I’d definitely stay again.
