    Definitely not a 2 5 star hotel

    This is not a 4 star hotel by western standards, 2.5 maybe, at most. The property is run down and uninviting, glad we didn't have to spend much time here.Also, there was no functioning internet most of the time.

    The hotel is very well located, one block from the town hall and two from 5th avenue. The hotel is rather simple, the rooms are very spacious with an own kitchen. The pool is nice for children. Curtains are not really darkening the room. Very silent airconditioning. Poor internet.

    The hotel is centrally located just blocks from 5th Ave. and the beach. It is secured 24 hours. The pool is beautiful and our room on the roof of the hotel gave us remarkable space and privacy. Check-in and Check-out were friendly and fast. I was surprised and delighted by how large the room was. It would be a great place for an extended stay. It provided all the amenities of a fully stocked kitchen and living room.

    My wife and I had originally booked the penthouse on the top floor but unfortunately it was not really up to our expectations. We spoke to the concierge, Derek, explained why we were unhappy and he very kindly offered to move us to Residence #5. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a large living and dining area and a good sized kitchen. We spent 4 days there and had no complaints. We also enjoyed the shady and private pool area. Overall we had a great stay in this very well located condo hotel and want to give kudos to Derek for being so willing to make sure we were happy. We also want to thank the young lady who worked the opposite concierge shift and who helped out our friends who were meeting us for a drink. They got soaked by some heavy rain and she supplied towels and umbrellas to ensure we all stayed dry as we walked to dinner.

    I was booked at another hotel that turned out to be a disaster, so me & my son walked to Fabiola 1st to see if we can get a room there & the front desk woman was very nice & accommodating, so I felt comfortable booking for the remainder of our trip. I checked in the following morning & enjoyed every bit of our 4 days & even booked an extra day. We had the 2 br suite which was very clean & modern. It’s in the middle of everything including 5th Ave so we walked a lot!! For the price & the comfort I’ll definitely make this my go to spot my next visit. Thanks Fabiola ♥️
