    My husband and I were here for our 28th anniversary. We have stayed here many times before and love the location and ambiance. Sadly the sargasso situation prevented us from enjoying the ocean. But we did enjoy our comfortable air conditioned room, and our private plunge pool behind our cottage. The service was exceptional… everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, especially Marta and Litzie. My massage at the spa was perfect and one of the best I’ve ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Attended 7-day yoga retreat. Perfect environment - quiet, tranquil, serene and calming. The resort is very quiet and the sound of the ocean waves put you to sleep each night. Walkways are sand so enjoy walking barefoot. Yoga studio and spa are added benefits. The yoga studio is fantastic for get-a-way yoga experience. Perfect acoustics for sun bath. Universal Embassy restaurant is independently owned by Cesar. Chef Elias Garcia is a master in the kitchen and wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to ask for Roger Rodriguez. The Raw Love Cafe offers a variety of coffee, cappuccino, matcha and cacao drinks together with organic, raw foods. The Emfemia Restaurant and bar offer daily live music, but do not worry, all is quiet after 8:00 pm! The pool is great to swim in. Wake up to greet the sun to start your day! I look forward to my next visit.

    Went on a yoga retreat for 7 days It’s a beautiful and relaxing resort right on the beautiful beach. No pavement, all sand so you can walk in your bare feet everywhere. Watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and very helpful The rooms are very nice with the sound of the ocean outside is very relaxing. It’s a quiet resort at night so you can get a great night sleep The yoga studio was fantastic. The acoustics were great for a sound bath. Yoga on the beach every morning was so great. I definitely would return.

    A fun girls trip but hotel needs some big improvements

    The property is pretty and the guys quaint but many improvements needed. AC didn’t work, room is old, beach beds not well maintained, loud music can be heard at night, food was meh.There was a party until 2am, it was so loud we had to move rooms. The seaweed situation in the whole beach is a bummer.

    Raw love cafe is it.

    I came upon this beautiful place by walking the playa. The blue vegan ice cream truck drew me in. I discovered the raw love cafe and fell in love with the green smoothie, and also David who is such a kind soul. The vibe here is so mellow and chill. A really great spot. Today I walked up the beach in the other direction and I felt like I entered another universe. I realized how truly special Maya Tulum is. I must go back tomorrow 💚
