Location

Located in Cancún leisure centre, this luxury hotel lies just 8 km from the airport and within metres of links to the public transport network. It is 35 minutes by taxi to the centre where guests will discover bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 4060 rooms, including 2031 double rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service offers guests additional comfort. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and 1 smoking room.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Pure relaxation in the hot tub, fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, crazy golf, golf and fishing. With windsurfing, jet skiing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, yoga, aerobics and table football. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a dining room, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch (as a buffet and a set menu) and dinner (a buffet, à la carte and a set menu) offer something for everyone. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    The massage was very good. Lidia was exceptionally good. She used the right pressure & everything. My only complaint is, that by the time we get settled on to the massage table, 15-20 minutes has gone by & so you DO NOT get a full 80 minutes.

    We had an incredible time at the Moon Palace Sunrise. The girls at the playroom were an absolute gift and could not keep our daughter away. All of the ladies were incredible. Cecilia, Avril, Jadi, Yami but the entire team. Ernesto and Andre helped keep us fed and treated us like great friends. We remember these people for their great humanity and not just a job well done.     We had an incredible stay at Moon Palace Sunrise, and this resort exceeded our expectations this was our third visit at a Moon Palace resort in the last year, and it just keeps getting better.The highlight of the trip for our daughter was the Playroom at Sunrise. She went every single day—sometimes multiple times a day—and genuinely looked forward to it. The staff there are outstanding. A huge thank you to Cecilia, Avril, Jadi, and Yami for the care, energy, and kindness they showed Quinn all week. She participated in so many fun activities, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy, engaged, and well looked after. You truly made her vacation unforgettable.We also had a great experience at the Bugambilias buffet. It’s always a favorite for our family because Quinn can choose exactly what she wants to eat, which makes meals easy and enjoyable. Ernesto and his brother Andres really stood out; they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome all week.We also visited the Gondola buffet a couple of times and had wonderful service from Guadeloupe, who was equally warm and attentive.Overall, the friendliness of the staff across the resort is something that keeps bringing us back.
