    Lowkey Vibe Boutique Hotel

    rating17 Dec 2025

Great boutique hotel. It gives chill, low key vibes. Nothing that’s too much but is such a great find! The staff was super helpful. I booked the massage and yoga instructor to come to the hotel during my stay and it was amazing!

Nice looking hotel but didn’t feel safe after a break in

    rating17 Feb 2025

The hotel was nicely presented. Unfortunately the group I was with several of our rooms were broken into whilst we headed out for dinner. Money, clothing and other personal items like perfumes, binoculars and other items were taken. It’s a pity because this hotel has a lot of potential!

Stay somewhere else if you have the option

    rating27 Jul 2024

My family was supposed to stay here in 2 rooms for 2 nights. However, we checked out after one night because this hotel was unsatisfactory. There seemed to be a near-endless stream of issues. Neither rooms' safes worked. Both rooms' refrigerator had been turned off and one of them leaked water everywhere. The other room's hairdryer did not work. One room was missing a couch, so that you could only sit on the balcony chairs, the toilet, or the bed. That room also had a very loose faucet that seemed ready to detach from the sink at any moment. There was no in-room coffee or tea. Although a microwave was in the room, there were no mugs provided (so we asked for some, and got them). There were no fitted sheets on the beds; the sheets used as substitutes became untucked quickly. Instead of using a flat sheet and comforter, there was a textured sheet that caught on our nails repeatedly during the night. In one bathroom, the window hinge was broken; it took cooperation from my daughter lifting the window from the outside and me pulling from the inside to get it to close. (An open window is an invitation to be bitten by mosquitos throughout the night.)Breakfast was supposed to start at 8am. We had to leave at 8:45am to start a tour, so we sent in our orders the previous night. The man working at the front desk of the hotel was also the only server and none of our breakfasts were ready until 8:25am. The fruit salad that was supposedly included with breakfast never made an appearance.I hung a "Do not disturb" sign on my door because I prefer not to get my room cleaned. When I came back from visiting Tulum alcheological site, someone had gone through and cleaned the room. For the reasons listed above and more, we decided to check out one night early. If visiting Tulum, I recommend that you choose a different hotel. Niik Tulum, Director General at Niik Tulum, responded to this review Where to start......this is a hotel, not a flat, so there are no sofas, coffee and tea where it says you have to drink it in your room, any inconvenience that may arise can be solved by talking to reception.

Best hotel to stay in tulum!! Great service, location and really nice rooms. Thanks so much for this experience :)

Since the first time that I stayed in Niik Tulum I was really surprised with the hospitality of all of the staff there, they are very friendly and amicable and offer a great service, whenever I needed something they were there to assist me in making the perfect reservation, setting me with the perfect room for my wife, baby and me to feel like home. The rooms are very clean, spacious and aesthetic, you have all of the services inside of the hotel such as a Restaurant and a bar.The hotel is located in the heart of Aldea Zama which is the hippest neighborhood of Tulum and the perfect spot to walk around and enjoy all of the nice restaurants, cafes and shops.Staying at Niik Tulum is definitely worth it and I would grade the place, service and location with 5 stars. The hotel manager Alvaro was the best, he coordinated everything and went beyond my expectations, thanks for everything Alvaro, you are really a life saver and a great person to meet!!! Niik Tulum, Director General at Niik Tulum, responded to this review Dear AlejandroIt is a pleasure and a joy to read these words,Thank you for enjoying the Niik experienceWe convey your congratulations to Alvaro and above all we hope to see you soon.
