Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, a few steps from the famous 5th Avenue. Xcaret and the Rio Secreto are around 20 minutes' drive away. The hotel is 45 km south of Cancún International Airport.

Facility

39 rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. This hotel has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, tennis and golf are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A spa and a sauna are available in the wellness area.

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. A continental breakfast guarantees a great start to the day.

    Unique peaceful hotel in the middle of the fiesta area

    This is a very nice and very clean hotel, which is unique in Playa del Carmen. The daily cleaning team and services is perfect, very precise.The staff is really super friendly and helpful, they do everything to make your holiday enjoyable.Special thanks and greatings to Alfredo from the reception and Miguel for the cleaning and nice surprises from towels. Altough, the hotel is in a walking distance from 5th Avenida, it is very peaceful and relaxing no noise from the fiestas inside the hotel. The only negatives are: 1. the so called continental breakfast which is very poor ( only few slices of fruits 2 slices of bread and some yoghurt with granola) However all the rooms equipped with toaster, shaker, microwave and fridge so you can prepare your own meal. 2.There is no beach (playa), only sand and sunbeds, it means that you can not go into the sea from the hotel due to erosion of the cost.

    With plenty of time to cancel, we took a day off our vacation in Cozumel to make sure we would be happy here. We met with Alfredo. He confirmed we would be in room 213, which we liked. He even gave us the. WiFi code for 213 to let us know the room was locked down in their system for us. Then we arrive 2 weeks later and the staff has no idea what I am talking about. The hotel lied to us (Alfredo?), so they get this bad review. The room we have is not as good as the room we were promised. Alfredo???

    Stunning location, small direct beach with loungers and umbrellas. Studio was spotless with ocean views. Very friendly staff. Close to 5th avenue but far enough away so sleep wasn’t disturbed. Air conditioning was perfect.

    What a gem! A sliver of serenity in a busy locale

    We had a great stay. Having a kitchenette was a great addition that gave us more flexibility in our days. We loved the more independent feeling as compared to staying at an all inclusive. The staff were great and really attentive. Alfredo was friendly and welcoming. Carlos helped us arrange an amazing excursion (Tulum/Cebo/Cenote). Mike was our wonderful room helper. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Playa del Carmen

    I’ve stayed at Playa Palms Beach Hotel a few times now, and it has truly become one of my favorite spots in Playa. It’s an authentic experience—not overly modern or flashy, but that’s exactly the charm of this adorable boutique hotel.Our oceanfront room came with a little kitchenette, which made it easy to enjoy coffee and snacks while taking in the incredible view. The property itself is clean, safe, and well cared for, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. It’s also wonderfully quiet. If you’re looking for a party scene, this isn’t it, but if you want to relax and actually hear the waves, this is the perfect place.The location is also fantastic—very walkable, with a beach bar right next door and plenty of restaurants just a few blocks away. Playa Palms has that cozy, laid-back vibe that makes you feel at home, and I can’t wait to come back again.
