Location

This attractive hotel is located close to the picturesque town of Playa del Carmen, on the strip of land between Cancun and the excavated settlement in Tulum. The ecological water parks X-Caret and Xel-Ha are also situated nearby, directly by the beautiful never-ending sandy beach of Playacar in vast, tropical surroundings. The region is rich in findings from the Maya Period. The centre of Playa del Carmen can be reached within around 3 km. Here, various shopping and entertainment facilities as well as taxi and bus connections can be found. Transfer time from Cancun airport to the hotel takes around 50 minutes.

Facility

The complex has a lift and features 460 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request.     We’ve always enjoyed our vacations at Sandos Playacar! On this trip, we had a large party have dinner at the steak house, El Gaucho. Several in the party have food allergies. Chef Francisco took extra good care of us and ensured that the foods were all safe to eat. He checked in on us multiple times during the evening which we felt was over and beyond expectations! I would absolutely recommend dinner at El Gaucho!
