Location

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, this beach hotel welcomes guests in Playa del Carmen.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 412 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Such a great place to stay. One of the better Secrets resorts I’ve stayed at. Roger Arroyo took care of all of our needs. The whole staff was awesome. I’d go back tomorrow

    This is by far our favorite resort!! The main reason is because of the caring and highly efficient staff. From the moment we were greeted after arriving we knew this was going to be a special place. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. Beautiful property, beautiful suites, wonderful food in every restaurant, great drinks - but what stands out to us is the staff!!! Our concierge was Roger in building 26 (Preferred Club), beautiful swim up suite. He was so caring and did anything he could for us each day. Always making sure we were cared for and having a good time. Special shout out to these outstanding people, Ricardo & Neydi in the Preferred Club lounge. Great drinks and conversation. Gerardo & Fernando at the swim up bar. Good drinks and kept us laughing. Brown Sugar, as he likes to be called, from the entertainment team. Great workouts with him! Edwin & Carmen in the lobby bar and also Estefani who assisted us in so many ways. We look forward to a return visit to this fabulous resort!!

    We had our wedding there and I cannot say enough good things. We stayed in the preferred suite with the swim out room and Roger was our concierge. Roger was amazing at catering to needs and making our stay so special!Rifkele was our wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job at making the wedding so special and perfect. We had no complaints about anything our stay!! We will definitely be back!

    We recently returned from an incredible stay at Secrets Maroma Beach, and it exceeded every expectation. The property itself is stunning, but what truly sets this resort apart is the phenomenal staff who go above and beyond to make your vacation special.Pristine Beaches Thanks to Tireless StaffRight now, Mexico is being hit with heavy sargassum, but you would barely know it staying here. The staff members who work the beach do a tireless, heroic job of clearing the seaweed out. Every single morning, we would wake up in our gorgeous oceanfront room in building number 27, look out, and the beach would be completely spotless. They are incredibly diligent with the cleanup. Even though the heavy sargassum meant we weren't able to actually swim in the ocean, the resort itself is so wonderful and packed with great vibes that we didn't even miss it!The Best Food in the Secrets ChainWe have stayed at multiple Secrets properties, and we can confidently say the food at Secrets Maroma Beach is the absolute best out of any of the resorts we’ve been to. Every meal was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.Outstanding Concierge ServiceA massive shoutout to our concierge, Bramden, who was absolutely spectacular. He was extremely accommodating to every single request we had.     THE BEST RESORT IN RIVIERA MAYA

    What a fantastic resort! We stayed at Secrets Maroma for two weeks and had the best time of our lives. Everyone at the resort was very friendly, polite, and respectful. They always went above and beyond to make sure your vacation was the best. The bellman, Carlos, greeted us and handled all our luggage and took us to our building after checking in. He is very friendly, smiling and did a great job for us. Our room was in building 25 and Roberto was our concierge. He did a fantastic job each and every day keeping us informed of daily activities and happenings. He also makes sure your room is comfortable and if you ever need anything, he takes care of it. We also know the concierges in buildings 26 and 27 from our last visits. That is Rodger and Bramdon. They are so friendly, polite, and professional. They do a great job each day! The pool and beach concierges, Hugo, Luis, Edy, Franco, Miguel, Mauricio, Manuel, and the others work very hard each day in the heat to make sure the guests are always taken care of. they are always very caring and polite to the guests. The waiters and waitresses around the pool work nonstop in the heat to make sure the guests have water and drinks and do an outstanding job. All of the restaurants have delicious food and great servers and managers. they always make sure your visit is their top priority. Fransisco and Carlos at Himitsu do an outstanding job each time we are there. Everyone loves when they do the Tuna Snoring outside and make the sushi. They are so professional, friendly, and respectful to everyone. They are great chefs! Carlos at Co Co Cafe is always happy and smiling, and so friendly. Jessica and Carmen at the Lobby bar and the Preferred Club are so friendly and work very hard as waitresses. The highlight of our two weeks was the Entertainment Team! Each and every one of them do an outstanding job keeping the guests active each and every day. They are always smiling, friendly, and polite and always find time to meet and talk to the guests around the pools. It was so impressive one day to see at least 30 happy people in the pool doing water aerobics and having a great time with Angel who was in charge. They all loved it! Angel does an outstanding job each day! We love all of the Entertainment Team, Hector, Didier, Omar, Emiliano, Uriel, Angel, Oscar, Alejandra, Daniel, Johanna, Isabel, Leo, Monica, (hope I didn't miss any) and will never forget them. Finally, we would like to thank the Executive Team, Mr. Javier Estelrich and Johanna Reside along with the front office staff, managers and supervisors for making Secrets Maroma such an outstanding 5 Diamond Resort.
