    We were very happy with our seven night stay at Suites Corazon. The room was well-appointed and perfectly clean, it was a great value, and the noise level was okay. Would stay here again! Best things:- Super clean! - The room is really spacious, with not only a big bed but a loveseat, armchair, kitchenette, and big desk. The kitchenette had a couple pots, pans, spatulas, plates, utensils, cups... You could do some basic cooking here. - Great location - just a block off Quinta Avenida, with tons of restaurants close by in under a 15 minute walk, a short walk to beach access, and 10 minute walk to groceries. Easy walk from ADO bus stations. Many great restaurants on 10 Avenida and Av. Constituyentes. - Good service, with the front desk staffed 24 hours a day. The staff also intervened when a group was being very noisy, which we appreciated. - Air conditioning worked great. Easy to adjust and control. Some downsides:- Noise - I am a light sleeper and very sensitive to noise, and I can say that the nighttime noise actually isn't bad. You aren't close to clubs that are going to disturb you all night with music and bass. Aside from one night that our neighbor probably came back drunk, we weren't disturbed much at night and we slept well. However, there is construction right next door and the noise from that started around 8 AM. This worked out okay for us because our trip was more oriented around daytime adventure and we weren't sleeping in super late. I wouldn't recommend this place if your goal is to party late into the night and then sleep in really late. --- Now that I've visited, I think it's fair to say that anywhere in downtown Playa del Carmen is going to have some noise issues. This is the tradeoff for the convenience of being close to the action and not needing a rental car/not being stuck in a remote resort. - And, since the room interior is all hard surfaces, the room is a little echo-y and noise carries a bit between rooms. Some carpets to absorb noise would be nice, but I imagine that's hard with all the sand guests must track in from the beach.- Some of the furniture and fixtures show some wear-and-tear or minor damage. For the price, and because it's so clean, I don't mind this. Overall: Great place to stay for a spacious, clean, well-located room at a good price. Quieter than most of the budget options (trust me, I scoured a lot of reviews). Not a luxury hotel room, but surprisingly a lot of amenities. We were really happy with our stay here!

    This hotel has become my favorite choice due to the location, people, security, roof top lounge area and has an elevator ( many don't) for the best price/value. The people are so helpful and nice. The rooms are clean and have a coffee maker, microwave, stove, mini fridge and even pot, pans, utensils to cook and eat with. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, shopping locations and Walmart close by. You don't always come to PDC for the room, but it's nice to have a good place to rest between having fun. 🙂

    A good choice for late arrivals

    We chose to stay here because they had a 24-hour front desk and we knew we would be arriving late. Despite being less than a block off the main street for tourists (Quinta Avenida), it was surprisingly quiet and had a very hospitable night clerk. Our room (101) was just above reception, and while it was a bit worn, it was also spacious and clean, with a kitchenette and living area, as well as a bed and ensuite bath. The only thing it lacked was drinking water. We would stay there again if we needed an overnight stay, but we would stop for water at the 7-11 on the corner on our way in.

    Stayed for 28 nights and hotel was wonderful. Right in the heart of everything. Very convenient location. Hotel manager Norma made us feel welcome and comfortable. Always had a smile on her face and answered all our questions. All staff was great. Never had any issues which gave us piece of mind. Will stay there again . Thank you Norma.
