  A Solid Stay Off the Beaten Path

  This was a solid hotel experience - one that I now reliably count on for it's fantastic rooms, wonderful staff, and amenities. It's not easily walkable to town, but they provide a free shuttle for you; they have elevators if you've got more than a carry-on with you (many of the hotels do not); the restaurant is great, especially for breakfast and lunch; and the older rooms mean that you have quite a bit more space and charm, and they are clean, with nice bedding, well-lit, and are supplied with Molton Brown toiletries. Plus, they have a spa on-site for spa services as well as a pool.   Great place to stay!

  We were just there for a week. Lovely spot, quiet, yummy food in restaurant and reasonably priced, lovely staff, good pool. Has free shuttle to town every hour. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Yes it is not in central, but not far, walkable if you are in good shape, up a hill, nice and quiet!

  Great hotel just outside the Centro of SMA (advantages: the area is quiet). $3 cab ride takes you pretty much anywhere, and the hotel does have a shuttle to the Centro. Charming boutique hotel - rooms large and well decorated. Biggest bed I have ever seen in a hotel, plenty of towels, lovely toiletries, continental breakfast included. I would have given this hotel 5 stars except the room could have used a touch-up paint job. Multi-lingual staff very friendly and helpful. Another area that needs improvement: the free wi-fi signal is so weak my phone kept disconnecting; maybe they need more bandwidth to accommodate the number of guests. Most of the other guests were there on business, but I would definitely recommend it for vacationers, as well. Small pool (which was covered while I was there) and spa onsite. Walking distance to some shops and a mall, but would recommend using this hotel as a base and then taxiing around.

  Spacious, comfortable rooms. Good value for money

  Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Hotel offers a regular service to downtown San Miguel, a very convenient 5-7 min. drive. Had a good stay overall with a few minor issues:1) the room has a nice table with two chairs in front of a gas chimney, but noticed several scratches on the table and very visible heat stains that could have been easily corrected; 2) we wanted to use the jacuzzi at the spa, but you have to book it well in advance, and you have to wait 3hrs after it has been used before it’s available again; 3) kitchen smoke/smell concentrates at the central lobby/bar area and permeates to the halls around the hotel all the way to the top floor; 4) minor minor detail but I’ll say it anyway... when you enter the hotel there is a nice table with a lamp and a mirror, (and the TripAdvisor logo in a wooden frame). The lamp shade was crooked/tilted, and was not lit in the evening... not the best first impression.

  We stayed in the hotel just for one day and everything was such a fairytale, very lovely place and the staff was so nice.Also we went out at night and they opened the gate for us at 3am, very flexible.Recommended!!.
