Utterly dissapointing.

We booked a Master Suite and got the hotelroom equivalent of a garbage dumpster on the Phillipines. There were cigarette butts on the balcony, the bed, curtains and coffemaker were filthy and the door broken. Even after we complained, the room was only cleaned in a sloppy manner, half of the butts and stains remained. The room was loud and poorly isolated. In the next morning, we found out, that warm water is an amenity one cannot seem to expect in this so called "5 star hotel".Furthermore, dinner in the hotels own restaurant was the sad pinnacle of misery. My friend got a pasta dish, which tasted quite good, but gave him stomach aches the rest of the night. I myself ordered the beef filet and got am (at least) week old, rancid piece of meat, that tasted like an old kitchen towel. It was the worst part of any animal i ever had to taste. Disgusting!Zero points. Location, location ,location ! Very traditional place, rooms were comfortable, staff was friendly. Very consistent with social distancing, face mask, temperatureChecking, shoe disinfectant, gel. Made us feel very comfortable. Waking distance to all centro histórico, restaurants right outside the door, OXXOS and Circle K. Big park across The street as well. The restaurant very tasty and budget friendly. We had an awesome Time. Would definitely consider coming back again. Ask for junior suite.

One of the worst places ever visited

The room has cockroaches!! Please avoid this hotel; prices do not correspond to hotel quality which is really low. Shower had really low pressure and not hot water in the morning, building maintenance is extremely low. When called to reception to change my room they just offer me some insecticide... it’s not a clean place. Hidden jewel in Mexico.

This hotel is well located in the center of the beautiful city of Zacatecas. Walking distance from beautiful colonial buildings and restaurants.My advice is to get a room close to the restaurant. The rooms close to the laundry room are very noisy.

Great hotel in a great location

This hotel is very much in keeping with its colonial past and is everything that I was expecting from a visit to this old city. It is not a new and flashy hotel but instead has been carved out of a building which is 100 years old plus and has been maintained beautifully. Our room (239) was spacious and comfortable. There was no balcony or outdoor area for us to sit in our room which would’ve been nice. However, that was not possible due to the structure of the hotel. There are a few central courtyards throughout the hotel where there are tables and chairs that you can sit and and eat/drink from. The location of the hotel is awesome and is set back one street from the main strip. It’s a great spot as it is very quite and you cannot hear any of the traffic. It takes a one minute to walk from the hotel to the Main Street. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and Zacatecas in general. I would love to come back one day.
